We're excited to share some insights into one of the core activities in Forester Simulator: logging. This task is not only crucial for maintaining the health of your forest, but also comes with a variety of approaches to suit your style. Whether you're methodical or adventurous, we've got you covered.
In Forester Simulator, harvesting trees is a responsibility. You'll find designated zones for planting and logging trees. By working within these zones, you'll boost your Forest Health rating. But for those who prefer a more reckless approach, the entire forest is at your disposal. Remember though, if you let Forest Health drop too low, you risk losing your job.
Getting started with logging is pretty straightforward. First, check whether the tree is suitable for harvesting.
From there, the choice is yours:
- Use a Harvester: For those who prefer heavy machinery, the Harvester is at your service.
- Go Old School: Feel like getting hands-on? Grab an axe and show off your strength.
We understand that controlling large, unfamiliar machines can be daunting. That’s why we've worked hard to ensure that operating the Harvester is intuitive, whether you're using a keyboard and mouse or a gamepad.
