I apologize for any disruptions this update may cause, I generally release updates during inactive hours but todays patch is an exception.
There's been a small surge in cheaters recently, there's a zero tolerance policy for cheating. You will be banned from online play permanently if caught cheating. Today I have a small patch adding some extra layers of protection against these cheaters.
This will be an ongoing task, creating more countermeasures as we go. Don't forget to fill out the description when making a report in game!
Changes
- Added extra layers of authentication when logging in for online play
- Added countermeasures for cheaters that are circumventing bans
- Banned players will now be automatically kicked from ongoing lobbies
