Changelog
Additions
- A new system has been implemented to allow you to play as your own customized family set up to take on New Shore in their own original way
- You can customize the following in your family
- Emblem
- Color
- Portrait. Imported images have a maximum size of 512x512px.
- Name of the Family & Don
- Don's Initial Trait
- Family-specific Title
- Family data is saved alongside the campaign save data
- Random Events Rework
- Random events and scripted events now play out using the Report system and the radio ticker
- In the report panel, you can find currently ongoing events and interact with them as they come along. This means that the Report panel is now a one-stop shop for all the events taking place and interacting with them, along with checking what their status is.
- You can also click on event slots to participate in them.
- Events now have a default response (ignoring, or abstaining), meaning that you have the option not to participate.
- Multiple events can occur and run concurrently without clashing with each other.
- This new system allows for the following:
- More long-term events
- Events tied to specific turn counts or years
- Improved randomization and less repetition of the same event multiple times in a row
Changes
- Additional random events: New random events have been added to the game:
- An event where any of the 4 politicians can be involved in a scandal.
- An event where a minor family requests a long-term loan.
- An event where disloyal enemy units will provide intel at a cost.
- Flavor Text has been added to enhance Conflicts and Assassination Events
- New variants of flavor text for Conflict results.
- You can see these in the report panel and radio panel
- Assassination context flavor can be found in:
- Any and all unit deaths/removals.
- Report entries that show if an assignment became vacant as a result of a unit being removed from the family.
