How to claim your prize
If you’re one of the lucky winners, look out for a friend request and message from xrgamesvr on Steam for details on how to claim your prize.
How did they win?
To give you a bit of a recap, our launch day broadcast featured The Lonely Viper, GameOnScorpio, GAMERTAG VR, Simply Chris and Jeaire, all playing Zombieland VR live on Steam.
Viewers and players had the opportunity to win up to $5,000 in cash prizes if they set a time on the leaderboards or managed to get a faster time than our awesome content creators.
(Note: Because Jeaire and GAMERTAG VR took it to the next level, no-one was able to beat their times, so we opened it up to anyone who had posted a time on those levels.)
Quest 2 Gleam Giveaway
We also ran a Gleam giveaway to win a 256Gb Oculus Quest 2 headset!
The lucky winner, selected at random, is:
Jason Ball!
Congratulations to everyone who won a prize!
Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever - out now on Steam and Oculus!
For those that didn’t compete or haven’t played Zombieland VR yet, the game is now available on Steam, and the Oculus Store for Oculus Quest and Oculus Rift headsets.
A nominee for ‘Game of the Year’ at the 2021 VR Awards, Zombieland VR is inspired by light-gun games of the 90s and the racing games of today, and lets players join Tallahassee, Wichita, Columbus and Little Rock to take on the most lethal zombie-killing race course ever - the Zombieland Invitational!
Since its launch in March 2021, Zombieland VR: Headshot Fever has received over 350 Oculus Store ratings with an average rating of 4.5 out of 5, hit the top ten Oculus sales charts in its first two weeks on sale, and won ‘Best Video / Audio’ in the VR category at the 2021 NYX Awards.
The Steam port of Zombieland VR includes enhanced anti-aliasing, screen space ambient occlusion, supreme colour grading, 4 bone skinning, and the quality of real-time shadows has also been boosted. All of these upgrades translate to a stunning, seamless, shooting experience, which will whisk you away to a zombie-infested USA.
