TLDR:
Probably the biggest patch so far, it includes:
- Three new areas, A2, B1 and B2. (Accessed through C2)
- 26 new items, including 2 new armour sets and new types of ranged weapons: muskets.
- Six new enemies.
- One new boss.
- New feature: starting settlements.
- Two new NPCs, whom may join your settlement.
- Three new achievments.
- Being able to change hair, beard and hair colour in game. (Through one of the settlers)
- Some bug fixes and overall improvements.
- The hours which count as day has also been expanded, so day time is two hours longer.
The longer version:
This patch took longer than I thought, so sorry to have kept you waiting. I wanted the new features to really add something to the game and maintain the feeling of still discovering stuff, so it took a while to figure out and balance the new items. Also I wanted the settlement-mechanics to be stable and pleasant enough and hopefully I have achieved that, hehe. =)
So you can now claim a settlement through your peace shrine. There is a pinboard in Honkertown which gives you info on what you need for the settlers to arrive. All plantable food also displays the amount of food value they will add to your settlement once fully grown, and living- and storage area-items (houses, cellars) will display how much they increase the settlements population capacity. You can only have two settlers right now but the next patch will add at least three more (Next patch will be a decorations-cosystuff-buildings-npcs-patch).
I also noted that some of the light effects had lost quality (no gradient basically) when I added the brightness/contrast/saturation-shader, so I have now fixed that. Also the venom scales armour is no longer built from the strong smithy but instead from a better tanning station. Also, once you have defeated the Clayshaper Kline will sell more and better bolts.
There is problary more stuff that I just can't think of right now, but these are the big parts. As always: your support is greatly appreciated! =)
Much love//Mattias
