Hey There Champs!
This week we want to talk a bit more about the three fighting schools in Punch Club 2: Fast Forward. As you start to progress through the game you’ll be gaining Good Person Points which not only allow you to unlock new moves to use in fights, but also let you unlock the various fighting schools AND their subclasses.

The Schools
There are three primary schools in Punch Club 2: Fast Forward:
The Path of Lazy Bear for Strength
The Path of Dancing Monkey for Agility
The Path of Angry Tortoise for Stamina
At the start of the game you’ll be using the Basic Stance, but soon enough you’ll have unlocked one of the three schools. Once you do, you’ll notice a new section open up in your upgrade screen, giving you access to the school and its moves, like this:

Once you’ve unlocked a school you can start spending your hard earned GPP on unlocking the various attacks, defensive moves and buffs that are available to your school.
Using a Path in a Fight
Once you have unlocked a path it’s time to utilise your new skills in a fight. You start by replacing the basic move set with your chosen school - in this example we’ve slotted the Path of Dancing Monkey:

As you then place more and more moves from your chosen school into your attack, defense and buff slots you will unlock more and more buffs which are tied into the school you have chosen. As an example here we have slotted the Path of Angry Tortoise, and have unlocked it’s moves:

But Wait, There’s More!
It doesn’t end there however - once you unlock a basic path you’ll soon find that there are multiple schools within it - here we’ve leveled our fighter in the Path of Dancing Monkey and have unlocked one of its sub schools:

These sub schools allow you to further focus your fighter into your chosen class and specialise them in particular styles of fighting like counter attacks, dodges or power attacks.
The various fight schools allow for you to customise your character to your play style and open up various tactical possibilities for the fights your character takes part in. Using them well will be the difference between success and failure, so get training!

Fuel Him Up!
The other thing to note is that there are certain moves that require fuel - these powerful moves, when used in combat, will use a single point of fuel from the stat the move is part of, so you can only use them as many times as you have fuel. In order to regain fuel you’ll need to train, but don’t worry, refueling a point takes a lot less time than building the point up in the first place!
And that’s all for this week - we’ll be back with more news next week, but remember that you can wishlist Punch Club 2: Fast Forward here:
