Driving your truck around town in Food Truck Simulator is a staple element of our gameplay loop.
We wanted to, in some small way, accurately present the feel and difficulty of driving around town.
Before you set off on the crowded streets, don't forget to visually prepare your vehicle, which we touched upon with the previous devlog.

A good vibe, music playing on the radio, and we're ready to set off.
Traveling around the map via your truck will allow you to collect various collectibles, unlocking such things as new paints, layouts, car wheel trimmings, mirrors, bumpers or unique decorations for the top of the truck. You will have to keep your eyes open and try a little when searching for them, though.

An equally important element is picking up orders we will have to deliver to Clara's shop. Every order delivered under a certain time from a specific location will grant us bonuses in the form of discounts, so swift and agile maneuvering through the crowded streets will have a tangible impact on our wallet.

Driving also requires fuel, and the logic is preserved in our game. We don't have an infinite fuel supply (seeing as the prices are terribly high nowadays), so at first, we're limited to what we have in our garage tank.

During normal gameplay, you will be able to refuel at gas stations all around the city.
For those who aren't as fond of driving, we've prepared a fast-travel system for the late game. You will be able to use it to move around between various different gas stations.
