Today, let’s go on an adventure through this first article, about our two main characters: Nyx and Sergei.
Maybe you already know Nyx?
You know, this woman that appears in the game’s illustrations and trailer, and in Out There: Chronicles as well.
However, do you really know her? What do you know about this woman promoted from secondary character to main character in our new game?
Natural leader, Captain Nyx comes from the American colony: America. Thanks to her strong personality and her confidence in the face of conflicts, she was able to get away from her superiors grasp. She now lives the life of an adventurer in her spaceship the Vanguard.
Because of her aptitudes, she is contacted by the Organizatsiya, the Russian colony. Indeed, the colony was able to seize the Archon, a dangerous and powerful entity.
The Organizatsiya requires Captain Nyx’ help to bring the prisoner to the Mausoleum of Eternity, its final destination.
To help her in this endeavor, the Russian colony sends out the scientist officer: Sergei. The man is very different from Nyx. He is shorter and less athletic. Fearful, he lets his emotions get the best of him. Sergei was chosen as the most brilliant scientist of the colony. He is able to solve any problems on a spaceship. He is also a xenolinguiste, he can talk almost all languages in the galaxy. Younger and less experienced than Nyx, he is thriving to learn and is happy to travel in her company.
Those two characters create an unconventional duo.
From a cordial agreement and professional relationship, our heroes’ relationship will evolve in a strong one, linked to the destiny of the whole universe.
Naturally, their mission won’t end up as they expected.
The Archon is able to break free from their spaceship, bringing disorder and chaos in its way.
Our two heroes will have to find the Archon and arrest it, once again. They won’t be able to succeed alone and will search for help in their quest. But like every human, they will have to face their own wrong decisions based on their judgement…
