Dev Diary #5
Welcome to the Fifth instalment of the Dev Diary Series! We have a couple of exciting announcements and details I would like to share with all of you this Dev Diary! Lets not waist time on formalities, Lets begin!
The Inner Engine
It has been a stressful few days getting the final touches and polishes done to the game and especially with my limited time to work on the game it has made it really difficult! With this have come rewards!
The game is in its final stage, containing all its originally intended features! Now i have had a few people come up to me and talk to me directly about a few things. Some people have been wondering if there will be a 2 Player Coop mode. In the games current state I only have a 4 Player Coop or a Single-Player Story Mode.
Though that does not mean that 2 Player Coop is off the table. I am working hard now to make a 2 Player Coop mode for those who cant get as many of there friends online. This feature is not going to be making release sadly. I will be aiming for a release of 2 Player Coop a month or 2 after release roughly. This gives me time to address any issues with the main release and get any bugs out of the base game that people experience. meaning a better experience for you all!
On other things, The Official soundtrack is complete! After working countless hours to get all the correct audio and merge certain pieces of music I have finally been able to complete the soundtrack! You can check it out on steam Here!
That finishes off this section of this dev diary! Time to see The Pipeline!
The Pipeline
To Start off I would like to address the recent delay of release. It had been a little hard over recent days to get work done on the game due to a family member becoming sick. My priority's had to change for those few weeks. After that I was able to continue my development on the game again!
I would like to announce my new release date! and hopefully final.
July 9th 2021
I am really excited! The game is in its complete stages. All that is left is for steam to give me the "Greenlight" for release.
Now some people may already be wondering what my plan is after release. There are a number of things I will be doing! first of all, fixing any potential game breaking bugs! but after i will begin on 2 things!
-2 Player Coop
-Levi Chronicles Chapter 2
These will both be important steps to reaching the end goal of this project. The completion of the Levi Saga! Lets move on.
The Community... See the Future
I have had a lot of discussion with the community over the past week or 2 and i have had a lot of Questions asked. So to solve this issue i will be putting up a question board on my Discord so you can post any question you like. I will close this question board after the 12th of July, So if you have any questions join and i will do my best to answer them!
