This update (12.0) was supposed to be the new attacker class but there'll be no update this week. My PC broke and I've had to buy a new one. New units take longer than any other update as they're extremely hard to balance so I didn't want to rush this one either.
Unfortunately when you're a solo developer things like medical problems or PC malfunctions put everything on hold. Genuinely sorry about that, but I'm going to have to spend over $1,000 on a new computer which is a hard blow to my savings in order to do my job & to do more updates.

I've been really stressed out about the whole thing since it happened 2 days ago, spent $40 at Best Buy to have them look at it but it wasn't any help. So instead of stressing about it more last night I just took a melatonin so I could fall asleep to some Star Trek and forget about the whole thing. Now I'm awake & wanted to give you guys an update.
I'll be getting files off of my hard drive which still works very soon so next weeks update will be coming for sure. But this is certainly a surprise to suddenly realize you're going to be down over a thousand dollars in savings and there's nothing you can do about it.
But what's coming next?
Right now I'm working from a laptop which will be fine for updating the game until I can get a new computer. I'm looking to do two massive updates for the game.
I had people on the Discord vote which update they wanted to be DLC-only and which should be available to everyone. So here are the two updates coming up:
December 13th: New Attacker Class (DLC Only)
A brand new attacker class with 3 new maps is coming on the 13th, the theme is "Fantasy". Both the class & the maps will be DLC-only.
December 20th: New Game Mode & Christmas Update
For this update I want to change the main menu to a Christmas theme, have Christmas Outfits (Maybe "Christmas Plant" for sniper as suggested on Discord?), as well as a new Defender vs Defender game mode called Arena.
Both updates will be fully compatible with existing addons such as First Person.
*As for what's going on with my next game (The story one):
It's still in the writing & pre-development process so me not having access to a desktop for a bit isn't going to slow anything down. Although I'll be releasing some concept art for it on the Discord sometime this or next week.
Conclusion
I'm excited for these two new massive updates going forward. But it's become very hard to work while having to use a laptop and I'd like to have a desktop again.
