Not seeing the update?
Steam doesn't usually inform the player right away of the update, they tend to wait until you restart your Steam client or until a bit later after the update has come out. So if you want to get the update right away you can do the following:
- Right-click the game in your library and select properties
- Go to "Local Files" and click "Verify integrity of game files"
- The game should immediately start updating!
Update 4.1
Fixes
- Fixed bug where if any player left the game would end while playing Infinite Waves
- Fixed bug where quickmatch let players join password-protected rooms
Conclusion
The bug with players leaving was due to the game's check system. Any time a player leaves the game, it checks how many attackers/defenders there are in the game. So on Infinite Waves it saw no one as playing attacker so it thought the attacker had left and ended the game.
As a side note, since the host handles game operations on Infinite Waves, the game will end if the host leaves.
