Bersians,
we have gathered your feedback and also a lot of questions. We chose some of the most frequently asked questions and forwarded them to Blueside. Here are the answers given by Jubo - Art Director at Blueside.
What is Blueside currently working on for Kingdom Under Fire 2?
In addition to the constant performance improvements we are working on creating new contents providing fun that players can only experience in KUF2.
Currently we are creating new guild battles and new troops. The updated guild battles are coming with a variety of benefits which will be shared as we get closer to the next content update.
What changes will we see for the game in the future?
First of all we want to let you know how grateful we are for your extensive feedback you are providing. We are always paying attention to the community and value your feedback.
Both now and in the future we are working on improvements of any aspects that are causing inconvenience for our players. For example, finding new ways to improve the rewardsystem of our game. Furthermore we are working on how to reset the limit on the number of extreme and invasion missions. We are also considering to provide a hero troops in the troop coin stores and guild stores, which are currently only available as mission rewards. As this was mentioned many times by the community, we‘re also looking for a better solution regarding the loot for dice.
We cannot change everything at once, but we are going forward step by step.
What’s your favorite class and why?
I don't have a particular favorite. Each class has their different strengths and weaknesses, so I like to choose the character to play when I want to. However, there is a class which I think that is difficult to control for me, which is Ranger. As time goes by, she gets harder and harder to control. It's a character for players with good control skills which evidently I don’t have.
Why did you decide to gender lock classes?
There was no significant purpose for having gender lock. I started playing console games instead of mmo ever since playing KUF The Crusaders. Like Gerald, Lucretia, Kendall, and Regnier (Crusaders characters). Since KUF2 started that way, it was hard to change production to MMO method. I realize that a lot of players want me to remove the gender lock.
But solving the gender lock issue requires the same resources as creating new heroes when in terms of development. For us, we think it is more attractive to create a new hero classes than to unlock gender of the existing ones.
There are some differences in the current version of KUF2 when compared to the betas in other territories. Why did you decide to do changes, or even remove some content?
In the previous versions, the balance between heroes, troops and single unit troops were all off. They had different balances and it was hard to fuse. Only long range troops were effective, so short range troops were obsolete. By addressing these issues, the overall balance has been modified by strengthening the individuality and sharing roles among the troops.
There's also been a change in the overall map composition. That's why we didn't include the infantry NPCs in PvP battlefields, which we did before.
In the case of the faction battle, content was excluded in the process of finding a countermeasure against the imbalance in the population
When we come up with a brilliant idea, we will present it to our players in a fun way.
