We know you are pretty curious of the game so here is a quick walkthrough of how it works!
In a world flooded by a trash tsunami, you are trapped in the middle of the ocean with a small raft. Your only chance of survival is the garbage floating in the waves around you.
Collect trash, defeat enemies and survive.
- 🗑️Gather trash along the way
Observe and locate the suitable type of trash according to the monitor, use a grappling hook to reach out to the floating targets (or, invaluable resources as we see them in the Trash Sailors world) and gather them on board.
This is the most basic task that can support you through fierce waves and sly enemies. So keep your eyes wide open and practice casting the hook! It takes a lot of training for a sailor to become a real captain!
- ⛽️Use the trash as fuel to start the engine, repair the raft or take down the enemies!
Once you have collected some resources, there are tons of next steps that you can take. Fire up the tank engine to get the journey started quickly or take some time to repair the raft that sea creatures or other enemies have damaged, it is all up to you!
If you’d like to clear out some obstacles ahead or burn the enemies’ forts to the ground, you can even shoot the garbage out! Aim at the target and fire out the trash. You will not be disappointed.
- ☸️ Steer the raft and navigate through the waves.
Steer your raft by yourself, in a pair, or as a full team to make sure you don’t rewrite the story of Titanic! Avoid the floating icebergs, coral reefs and SHARKs. A quick turn of the wheel can save you lots of trouble.
- 🗺️Travel across different maps to gather trash.
From the hottest jungles to the icy Arctic, your raft can take you around the whole globe to witness stunningly beautiful seascapes. Gather trash as you travel and go as far as you can!
- 💀Most importantly, try not to SINK!
The further you have sailed, the more threats will emerge on your way. Battle with the lurking crocodiles/sharks/walruses/crows(this list does not end here😏), avoid the vomiting pipes, shoot the pirates and tribesmen down and keep an eye out for the dangerous shooting air-balloons above.
Every day on board is more than exciting and busy, so always make sure you’ve packed enough trash before you bump into one of the many life-threatening situations!
- Accessibility Settings!
Need a chill ride to relax after a long day? Flexibly adjust the Accessibility Settings to get rid of unwanted threats and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. Customize the accessibility to an extent that you are most comfortable with and define your own nautical legend!
About the Multiplayer Mode:
We are currently at the final stage of improving and testing the game. One of the main focuses is to improve the online multiplayer experience. Unfortunately, the current demo has not been able to support the online multiplayer mode just yet, and we are working our best to bring you good news on that and the official release date soon!
For now, we suggest you try out Remote Play Together on Steam and play with friends in that way!
How it works:
1. Launch your demo
2. From your Friends List, invite your friends to play together
3. They accept and… Boom! You are playing together!
