Yo Snails.
As you know I’m a busy AI, running infinitely high amounts of painful simulations at any given time. And of course, watching your suffering on top of that.
So as it came to my attention that the accessories you can get in room A02.1 are gathering some digital dust, I thought: “Who better than my obedient snail servants to get this wardrobe updated?”
You have until September 5th, 9 AM CST to create a new skin for Shelly! Or a new shell, to be more precise.
Download the transparent PNG provided here to your machine and design a snailish outfit. Change Shelly’s color, and/or add accessories, clothing, and textures. Post it on our Discord server, on the #shellys-new-shell channel using !sns or !shellynewshell and be prepared to be judged by the digital fashion world.

Rules 📜
- Edit the template available here. You may reposition Shelly and/or resize the canvas, but Shelly’s body shape should remain the same;
- Submit your artwork on the Discord channel #shellys-new-shells using the command !sns or !shellynewshell;
- Only one submission per person is allowed, if you submit a second one, it will substitute the original;
- Your submission must be created by you, of course;
- You can draw a background for your submission, but only Shelly’s customization will be considered for judging;
- The submission deadline is September 5th, 9 AM CST;
- To avoid giving early submitters any advantage, we will open the voting period after the submission period is done. After that, feel free to react to the artist’s posts and show some love! Your reactions will help with the final judging. You can also talk about the submissions using threads (just like the feedback channels work).
Judging 🔍
Submissions will be judged by Jonas, the Community Management team, and the Discord Mods. The assets will be critiqued on the following:
- Originality and creativity;
- Rules validation;
- Reactions to the submission piece (which will be a strong factor in the judging process and will be allowed after the submission period ends).
