We are very thankful for the warm reception of the latest patch and for the kind reviews you posted on our Steam page. We reached the 72% positive review mark and that alone gave us a huge chunk of motivation for further work.
This week we decided to focus on some of the devices without which working in a garage would not be possible.
You can now manually use the spring clamp in order to put together and take apart suspension arms.
The welder can now be used to repair rusty car bodies. Simply put it onto a car and press the trigger and the rust should come off easily. Car sheathing elements such as doors can also be derusted this way, but need to first be taken off of the car.
The repairing table now works the way it should, you can put any part you want on it and then use the hammer laying on it to fix the part.
Remember that when doing all of the above you are still limited by the skill tree perks related to part fixing and that some parts can be damaged beyond repair.
The cleaning toolkit can also be used by hand - grab a spray bottle and use it on the inside of the car.
All of the computers in the garage have been equipped with a power button so you no longer need to use the laser to turn them on.
The battery charger also received a revamp. You now no longer need to use the pie menu to make it work. Simply grab a battery and place it on the charger where the clamps are and the charging will start automatically. We also added a small indicator showing you the charging progress.
The custom user music radio station is back! Now you can listen to any songs you like in CMS VR!
We also enhanced the scrolling lists, which now should be bigger and more user-friendly.
The watch has received a new panel responsible for displaying your local time.
