It is an exciting time for us all as we announce a major update we have been working on. This Land Is My Land is a game driven and fueled by passion, and we genuinely appreciate the emotion our community shows when it comes to mechanics and features. You give us the motivation to make this game as polished as possible.
With that said, here are the inclusions of patch 0.0.3.14532 for This Land Is My Land. Be sure to stay on the lookout for more news and future updates!
New Localization: French, German, Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian
With the help of our responsive and attentive testers who helped us a lot by fixing our texts, you can now play the game in six different languages: English, French, German, Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian.
We also have a system that allows any player to help us improve our localization by fixing errors if they are found. To help us improve our localization, you can suggest your own translation by simply copying the .lng file and changing the text to any language you prefer. Also, as always, players can contact us on our Discord server or report issues and help us to fix them through F11 or Discord support tickets.
Improved Visuals, AI Behavior, and Overall Game Performance
Though it is far from being final, we worked on the game's overall performance and improved it for a better game experience. Animations are greatly improved and AI behavior is enhanced for a more natural response from enemies and allies. These kinds of improvements are always on the team's table to polish the basic gameplay, so expect more down the line.
Gameplay and Basic Mechanics Upgrades
We heard you, and we worked on some of the things that you pointed out.
- First, we removed the Skill Point (SP) cost when you need to get "unstuck" using the menu button. We changed that so that players can get back to the game without any cost during the unfortunate times where you might get stuck in the world.
- New search filters are implemented to the craft tab so players can easily find the items they need to be crafted.
- Now on the HP bar, you can see the current health, which will be displayed in numbers.
- Horse bond level now grows faster, hay bait now gives more health to your horse, and your bonded horse's health regenerates.
Major Game Additions
We added a lot of good stuff in the game that you will enjoy.
- Many new settlement varieties and activities have been added.
- There are several new weapons available in the world. You can now use Nagashiko Arsenal 1868 Teppo, H.W. Lancaster & Co Model C Rifle, Lee-Shneider Wheel Gun No.2, Vinceta de 42mm Mortar, and 42mm Grenades in the game.
- There are new boss items that have also been added, such as the Pike, which you can obtain from one of the bosses and sell to the traders for an attractive price.
- We also introduced world enemy bosses or non-obligatory enemies which appear in the late game. They will all pose different challenges and unique opportunities for you.
- And one more thing, two new items have been added to the Craft section: Campfire and Long-lasting Campfires! These campfires can be used as outposts, that is, now you can craft campfires and place them in a convenient place, except for settlements. You can fast travel from an established campfire to any friendly camp or outpost with a fire lit, and you can also fast travel to any established campfire if you are near a friendly camp or outpost with a fire lit.
General Fixes and Improvements
We are aware that some bugs hinder players from enjoying This Land Is My Land, we are continually working to fix them.
- We optimized and fixed the random freezes experienced in the game.
- We also fixed the issue of players being unable to kill or eliminate mounted enemies.
- We fixed the "Add Order" issue which caused to have only Options A, B, C in the list of items.
- Players can now have an unlimited number of resistances and no longer be limited by a few saved games where you can continue the adventure. This way, you can fully immerse yourself in the rich gameplay of This Land is My Land.
