Your secret HQ is the heart of your operation - worth mentioning, illegal ones!
You’ll be building and upgrading facilities, developing new apparatuses, hosting your employees, and most importantly, it is here that you’ll be making fine moonshine. Please treat it with respect, as your home and workshop in one.
At least, that’s a general idea.
In your base, you'll find a couple of specific buildings. The Employees' Headquarters, for example. Clicking on it opens a menu with the list of your current hired workers, their statistics, statuses, specializations, and so on. It’s essential to keep track of everything happening in your base.

Then there is The Warehouse. It opens the Inventory where you’ll keep your ingredients, the alcohol waiting to be delivered, and equipment and apparatuses that need to be placed around the base.

The area of your base is divided by a grid. That’s where you’ll be putting all the apparatuses when you craft them. You can create all sorts of machinery: fruit presses, grain mills, fermentation tanks and barrels, and finally - distillation stills. And all types of those.

Given the amount of equipment you’ll be able to craft, you’ll have to organize and arrange everything properly. But that doesn’t mean you can’t give it a bit of... personal touch. Maybe you want all your pre-fermentation equipment next to each other? And distillation on the other side of the base? Or everything together to easily keep an eye on the whole operation? And to possibly make it easier for your employees. Who sometimes have to go quite some distance to get to the river and grab some good, clean mountain water for fermentation and distillation.
In the end, building your base is entirely up to you. Ergonomic and economic, visually pleasing and appeasing - whatever you want. It’s your base, after all! And around it, you’ll build your empire.
So, are you ready to make your first steps in the Appalachian Mountains?
