Floppy Knights Release Update

The end of 2020 is upon us! Before we head out for our holiday break, we wanted to throw down a whole slew of updates for you to enjoy.

First off, due to the numerous challenges that this year brought, we’ve chosen to delay the release of the game until 2021. Our team has spent almost all of 2020 working remotely, which has been a big adjustment for us. Life -- for everyone -- in the midst of the pandemic has been tough, and a big priority of ours is to make sure our team stays safe. We want to make the best game possible, but we also don’t want to push too hard and burn out.

We’re a small team with multiple projects, and it’s important to us that each game gets the time and energy it deserves without asking our teammates to push too hard to meet the earlier release plans. We also haven’t had the opportunities to playtest as much as we would have liked, with quarantine leaving us unable to attend local meet-ups and festivals, so having more time will allow us to garner better feedback online and help us make Floppy Knights feel great.

In order to make this extended timeline work, we have some exciting new partners helping out- more on that a little later. But, we are certain this delay will allow us to make the game even better, with more crafty card combos and floppier Knights! We appreciate everyone’s understanding, and promise it’ll be worth the wait.

New Teaser + Screenshots

To give you a taste of what’s in store, we’ve prepared a quick teaser that shows a world beyond verdant farmland and veggie-stealing goblins. We hope you enjoy it!

To see more, head over to our Steam page to check out some brand-spankin’ new screenshots. (Psst -- while you’re there, don’t forget to click that wishlist button if you haven’t yet already!)

But wait, there’s more!

You’ll be able to give our new and improved demo a try at the next Steam Festival in February 2021! We've been hard at work implementing changes based on the last Steam fest demo based on the great feedback we got - and we can't wait to hear what you think!

Before we wrap this up...

Thank you so much to everyone who’s continued to follow Floppy Knights! You inspire and motivate us with your comments and excitement for the game, and it means a lot to our team, so -- again -- thanks!
