You may have seen or read about all of the updates we’ve been doing to the mechanics of Floppy Knights. We’ve modified movement and attacking … and now we’re spicing up some of the way you learn information in battle! Check it out in this week’s update:
Fan Art Contest Extension

Before we get into the UI updates, we wanted to let y’all know about a quick update to the fan art contest! Life has been busy, so we wanted to provide you with the opportunity to have a little more time to finalize (or get started!) with your entry. So, the Summer Science Fair has been extended and the new deadline is now September 7th! Keep those submissions coming ~ we’ve loved seeing them!
Don’t Leave Carlton On Read!

To help get info to you more quickly during battle, Carlton now sends quick messages to give you the best tips as soon as you need ‘em.
Updated Enemy Info

One of the feedback points that we worked on right after the demo was to provide more info on enemies. While we did add to that a while back, we wanted to help be more comprehensive, so Marlowe, our creative director and artist/animator, has mocked up a new window that’ll give you everything you need to know about units, like this Goblin Grunt!
The Best Backpack

If you’ve been following us on Twitter, or if you saw our last update, you’ll know that we’ve been talking about the Monster deck! We’ve now added the ability to organize cards in both of your decks, Plant and Monster, in your backpack.
Indie Arena Booth: August 27 - 30, 2020

What’s that? You want to hang out with the devs and see some more Floppy Knights? You’ll get the chance to when the Indie Arena Booth Online goes live on August 27 - 30th! This event is the indie-focused part of Gamescom, and we’ll be there with a digital booth that you’ll be able to walk through and explore. Stay tuned: we’ll be sharing more details soon!

It’s been an exceptionally busy month, so thank you for taking the time to read and keep up with what we’ve been doing! As always, please don’t hesitate to pop into our Discord to say hi, or leave us a comment on Twitter or Instagram if you’re liking what you see.
Talk later!
