Have you all had a chance to start brainstorming your summertime Floppy Knights? We’re excited to see what you all create! If you haven’t gotten on board with our fan art contest, now’s the time.

While you’re all crafting and getting creative, we’re also working on more Floppy Knights development. Read on to see what we’ve been up to these past couple of weeks:
Phoebe, Clean Your Room!
There are quite a few more episodes and areas getting added right now as we zoom from the alpha and demo into Beta! The tutorial that we teased during the demo is getting revamped to take place in Phoebe’s room. Here’s a quick peek at some of knick-knacks you’ll see when learning how to lead your Floppy Knights:

Status: Poisoned!
So, you’ve sent Spitunia over to use Poison Shot on a goblin… and up until now, there wasn’t any way to tell they were actually poisoned. Up until now! Check out this poor lil fella:

Mooooooove on over!
As we continue to implement feedback based on what we received during the Steam Game Festival demo period, we’re continuing to explore movement adjustments. A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned adjusting values of movement cards so that it’s cheaper, which allows you to move more.
We tested it, and while it worked, it was an inelegant solution! So Christian, our game designer, played with it a bit more, and came up with a NEW movement system, based on inherent movement values for each unit! Check out this thread to get all the details.

Paint by Numbers Goblins
Our programmer, Nic, came up with a speedy way to get enemies placed on the maps! Meet: Goblin brush! Don’t worry, we’ll try not to get over-eager and just flood all the maps with goblins.

On the art front, Marlowe has been busy creating a veritable FLOOD of new card art that have to do with all the different decks and new unit types that we’ve yet to reveal. While I can’t tell you about the amazingly cool [REDACTED] or the super sneaky and suspicious-looking [REDACTED] … I can show you this wonderfully mischievous character, ready to steal your heart!

Busy, Busy!
While we can’t show pictures of some of these yet, we’ve also been working on boss battles, testing new cards, adding even more environmental assets to fill the world (and provide extra elements to traverse and manipulate in battle!), and listening to lots of new music from our composer, Graham Nesbitt!
