Is it summer yet? Almost, but not quite! So, instead of busting out our allergy meds and spending time absorbing some vitamin D, we’re instead doubling down on our prep for some really exciting events coming down the pipeline soon.
A Science Fair? Here?
Phoebe’s village is known for its world-renowned science fairs, where inventors and designers from all around the land travel to share their creations. This year, YOU will all be invited to take part in the festivities! What will that entail? Stay tuned…
Carlton’s Tool Tips
While originally Carlton hung out in the lower right-hand corner of the menu, we felt it was time to set him free! Now, he’s got a great vantage point to see all the action in the upper-left corner of the screen. And he’s even got a formidable battle face to help intimidate all those goblins stealing veggies!
More Map Polish
We added flowers a few weeks ago, and we just can’t stop making the levels even more beautiful! There’s a whole bevy of new decorations we want to add to our levels, as you can see:
And in addition to adding even more decor to fully flesh out Phoebe and Carlton’s world, we also added a small detail to make each tile more visually distinct. Check it out: checkerboard tiles!
Testing the Tutorial
We’ve added the tutorial level to the game as well! Before jumping into odd jobs and helping neighborhood farmers, Phoebe and Carlton will now walk you through the basics of battling with Floppy Knights.
Psst! The extra eagle-eyed folks will notice the slight updates to how tiles highlight when selecting an enemy to attack. ;)
