Patch Notes: 12/29/2020 - v0.9.89
BUG FIXES
- Fixed Upper Hand from not giving shield per arcana card
- Static fury splashes vulnerable again too.
- Reckoning value update, it'll now correctly show the value instead of 0.
- If you taunt or pull an enemy, and they requeue a new attack, the order in the Damage Preview Breakdown will now match the casting order instead of being lumped at the bottom of the stack.
- Dispel and Cleanse now reveal their caster for a better read in the Battle Log.
- Resolve cards will now fully update their cost and shown ap value whenever you switch lanes.
- Aranax's Life Tether no longer gets bonus healing scaling per difficulty.
- Luminous Aegis now will Heal for the correct amount.
- Fury Bar no longer openable while its the enemy turn.
- Selflessness (Leon) no longer shows Shield in the tooltips.
- Fixed some funky stuff with Redraw where it wouldnt always fill up your hand if you had 4 or more redraw on a Hero.
- Blessings and Curses no longer lose a stack at the start of the battle.
NEW FEATURES
- NEW HERO! Angorn, the Druid, is now a playable Hero! Some of the card artwork is still a WIP as it's being finalized. He's also missing a lot of Spell VFX, which will be coming in the next few days!
- SAVE GAME! The "Save Current Run Progress" is now ready for everyone! We've stabilized it a ton, but there might be an issue if you crash or force quit while in battle, the actual run might not be continuable, BUT all your XP and Stones will be saved no matter what!
- Some optimization, the game should load roughly 30% faster now, and has undergone a few optimization tricks to help save some gpu pressure.
- Huge rework on the Damage Previews! These now fully run through the code that'll execute when you release the card, so the numbers and values are all updating to the actual damage delivered! No more counting and wondering if it'll do what it sounds like it'll do! Full Transparency!
COMING UP
- We're reworking the Exploration and Corruption concepts a bit because they're kinda confusing. This will be the main focus for the next week or so. You will be able to have more freedom to roam the map, but in a more focused way.
- Hero Death changes! We're going to try to move away from the "One-and-Done" style of game overing. We have a few ideas on the table, but the one that's sounding the most appealing is a combo of having X "Lives" which can revive your heroes in battle. If all heroes die in battle, then it'll be Game Over. More details coming in the next few days on our Discord!
- Arena Mode!! YUP! Fight till you Drop in a long line of increasingly harder battles. This mode will throw everything the game has at you to chop you down! It'll get considerably more interesting once Uzir is released, so stay tuned!!
