Hello, I've released a new patch in the publicbeta branch. This one has quite a few bug fixes, plus the Story Mode translations for both Indonesian and Ukrainian have now been completed!
Here's the full change list:
Fix for one NPC in a group of 4 followers constantly exiting the building you are in, when surrounded by zombies
Fix for steroids in the fetch quest not appearing on an NPC's trade screen if they are hungry
Fix for preferences being saved whenever you enter the graphics settings menu even if you didn't change anything, which might have caused some weirdness (not sure)
Fix for names sometimes being empty in speeches on Log page
Fix for error message when you join a game via invite on a different version saying you have a story hash mismatch when it should say you are on the wrong game version
Don't allow drag-selecting in building mode as it conflicts with the Clear function and confuses things
Fix for not being able to clear an unbuilt fence that is on top of an existing fence, in building mode
Fix for crop patches owned by a community not being deleted when the community is deleted in the editor
Fix for followers not fighting enemies when you are in a vehicle and they are outside and the vehicle is full
Fix for crash when highlighting a tomato plant in A New Dawn mod
Fix for not being able to exit metal watchtowers in A New Dawn mod
Fix for NPCs assigned to be chefs being given a minimum Farming skill of 2 instead of Cooking
Fix for NPCs not actually giving you 400 gold in the Intimidation quest, after you intimidate them
Fix for captives attacking you if you fight their captors
Fix for not being able to open a gate that you have a key for if you're at war with the owner
Fix for Liam Franks being able to join you before he warns FEMA if you trap him in a fenced area
Possible fix for rare crash when selecting mods
Include quest and memory lines in Print Full Speech Translation tool for translators
Attempted to improve the grammatical case functions (accusative, dative etc) for Czech, Hungarian, Russian and Ukrainian translators
Story Mode translation completed for Indonesian and Ukrainian!
Updated Brazilian Portuguese and Japanese translations
The previous patch, v272, has been moved to the main branch and released on XBox.
What's this publicbeta thing?
v274 will be in the "publicbeta" branch on Steam for a while, before pushing it to the main game and to XBox. If you want to try the latest features as they come out (and help test them!) it's a good idea to start using this branch. But keep in mind:
Because it's the bleeding edge it could be less stable
If you want to be able to play online co-op with someone you'll need to be on the same version as them
If you go back from the "publicbeta" branch to the main branch you may not be able to load savegames created on "publicbeta".
To use publicbeta, just right-click on Survivalist: Invisible Strain in your Steam library and go to Properties, then Betas and in the drop-down select "publicbeta".
