Hello everyone, there's a new patch in the publicbeta branch! One small new feature in this one, for people using gamepads, who previously never had a convenient way to quicksave: now you can do it by opening the pause menu and pressing the alt action button (e.g. X on the XBox controller). So it's a fairly quick two button presses instead of having to go into the Save Game menu. If you're playing with save tokens enabled, it'll show how many of them you have left too, so it's convenient in that way.

Fix for situation where people could sometimes disapprove of themselves giving negative eulogies for people they mildly disliked
Fix for being able to skip past Kelly at the start of Story Mode by getting into a taxi
Fix for characters with invisible strain occasionally making up lies about the chickens in your community in order to foment unrest

Updated Brazilian Portuguese, Czech and Japanese translations
I've also applied the recent Unity Security Update to this patch.
Meanwhile the previous patch, v262, has been promoted to the main branch and to XBox.
Another cool announcement - Jean-Charles Rocher, who did most of the French translation for Survivalist: Invisible Strain, has been working on a sort of Alien-inspired board game for a while and he's just launched a Kickstarter for it. I helped with English translation and it looked like it would be a fun concept to play! Check it out:
What's this publicbeta thing?
v263 will be in the "publicbeta" branch on Steam for a while, before pushing it to the main game and to XBox. If you want to try the latest features as they come out (and help test them!) it's a good idea to start using this branch. But keep in mind:
Because it's the bleeding edge it could be less stable
If you want to be able to play online co-op with someone you'll need to be on the same version as them
If you go back from the "publicbeta" branch to the main branch you may not be able to load savegames created on "publicbeta".
To use publicbeta, just right-click on Survivalist: Invisible Strain in your Steam library and go to Properties, then Betas and in the drop-down select "publicbeta".
