A lot of you have asked for the ability to mark the compass color on previous islands. And we've debated if we should implement this or not for a long time, since part of the "skill" is to memorize and guess what's next based on your memory. However, it has become a burden that you have to overcome to enjoy the core game, and memorizing is never "fun".
So there you go, we did it, but in a slightly different way. Having to mark every island you've stepped on would eventually become a chore. Why not show it directly, in a less obnoxious way?
So here is what we did, for v.0.3.3:
1. Added an "eye" at the top of the compass, holding it would show you the compass color of the last two rounds on the map.
2. Improved the marker a little bit.
