■When using different types of controllers
In the Steam "settings" menu, under the "Controller" tab, turn OFF the following check boxes in the "General Controller Settings" section:

- PlayStation Configuration Support
- Xbox Configuration Support
- Generic Gamepad Configuration Support

■When using the Switch Pro controller
In the Steam "settings" menu, under the "Controller" tab, turn ON the following check box in the "General Controller Settings" section:

- Switch Pro Configuration Support
