Normally there was an update every week. The last one was two weeks ago. There's a reason for that: At the moment I'm working on a big update! There will be some great new features that I'd like to talk about briefly:
Uploads
I completely redesigned and rewrote the entire uploader and queue. This brings great new features and possibilities. The new uploader updates itself every second. The progress and speed of an upload is recalculated every second. This makes the process smoother. Internally, the uploads have been completely restructured, which also shortens the overall upload time.
There is a new feature called "Tasks". In the templates you can define what should happen to a file that has been uploaded. It can be moved, renamed, deleted or copied. This applies to the video and the thumbnail file. Only when all tasks have been completed will the PC shut down if this is set.
I've integrated a Power Managemanet. If the computer goes into sleep mode during the upload, all current entries are paused. If the PC wakes up, the queue continues. However, it is possible to prevent this sleep mode while the upload is still running.
The new queue will be activated automatically. If there are any problems you can return to the old version via the settings.
Translations
There will be two new languages:
Italian and Russian. I would be very grateful for feedback. I will have the translations checked by native speakers in the near future.
New notifications
I've revised the notifications. These are now much more functional and above all more beautiful. Notifications that are displayed shortly after each other are now displayed below each other and can be closed individually. Previously they were displayed on top of each other. Not very nice.
GUI
I've made some minor changes to the GUI to add a little more contrast to the interface. This is especially true for modal windows. More shadows are used here to emphasize these windows. I also rounded the buttons a bit to make the surface look less hard. I hope you like the changes.
The new version will be released in the next days, but probably tomorrow. I'm looking forward to your feedback.
