Gauntlet DLC introduces a new Arena-type endless game mode. You can jump in to try it out at any stage of your playthrough from the main menu.
In this new mode your goal is to survive through progressively more difficult arenas in a single life.
It will test your build-crafting and your survival skills against increasingly difficult enemy sets:
You get a fully unlocked arsenal and it’s up to you to choose your best loadout
You get skill points as you progress to upgrade ASKA’s combat capabilities and weapon synergy
Whenever you are defeated you get to keep the unlocked skill points so you can come back stronger and go even further next time!
Now go and conquer the Gauntlet!

Those of you, who finished the game and would still like to see what ASKA is capable of at full power, we hope you’ll dive back in and enjoy the new challenge that NG+ brings to the game.

HOW TO START NEW GAME PLUS:
Once you finish the game you will get an option to start NG+ from the Main Menu screen
You will start from the first main mission, skipping the Tutorial gameplay
You will keep the skills and weapons you finished your initial playthrough with
WHAT TO EXPECT:
NG+ is a real challenge and you’ll see it reflected in some of the tweaks we made. It’s designed as a mastery-focused mode for players who want to test their skill and see what a maxed-out Hyper Unit can do!
Higher game difficulty by default, think Brutal+
Full focus on gameplay – no tutorial and other narrative and cinematic elements
Enemies that are tougher to eliminate
More challenging boss fights
Ability to level up ASKA further and unlock all weapons, skills, and perks
Go get ‘em, Hyper!

Misplaced decals have now been added appropriately
Resolved various streaming issues causing some objects to suddenly appear and disappear from players surroundings
Tweaked zfight to eliminate undesirable flickering
Various improvements to open geometry of certain objects
GAMEPLAY & BALANCING
A full re-balancing for Lightning Gun bringing it more in-line with similar weapons
Miscellaneous tweaks to balancing on Hard / Brutal game difficulty
Switching between weapons now feels more responsive due to a shorter cycle delay animation
