Steam Workshop support is finally here for Decks of Dexterity! You now have the ability to make your own mods and share them in the workshop! Steam Workshop makes it super easy to download mods, play with them and even make your own!
Decks of Dexterity already has deep modding support. You can make your own cards, treasures, enemies, events, and even entire classes!

Version 1.8 Updates:
Alongside Steam Workshop support, this update features many bug fixes, balance tweaks, and general improvements.
Most notably this version now uses a new save format that can withstand version updates. So previously, if you had a run going and updated the game you would not be able to continue your run. This has been fixed and runs will work between updates from now on. If you have an unfinished run and want to rollback to the previous version of the game there is a new branch called "rollback" that has the previous version.
The other main update to this version is Mod Format 2. Previously all mods were created using a custom programming language for the game in JSON files. This worked but was quite clunky and a bit annoying to work with compared to a real programming language. So with Mod Format 2 you can now write modded cards as .dex files and use a full fledge programming language called CatSpeak. CatSpeak is version similar to the GML that the game uses. In the future I will create a more in-depth tutorial on using CatSpeak. https://www.katsaii.com/catspeak-lang/
