We still need the reviews, good bad and the ugly! that is the only way to get the badges, emoticons, trading cards and backgrounds!

I am sorry also as I have had two very big losses in my family this year already and I have had to leave for my village and duties during such time. But the team (like Ultraman) are back together.
We have been working away on a new title and looking to upgrade our microphone so that we can do our voice recording in house.

I'm tired... have not slept much in two days and we are working on a new update.

We know that within making video game HENTAI PUZZLE we are crossing a lot of conventional lines. This is our 'Penis Chair' update.
We do not know if any of you will get ALL new achievements, nobody has yet... not even we... they are HARD to find... and it is a long and hard journey. Our game is designed in chaos, it changes the normal game progression formula.
If you have played the game through you already know this.
We have a chaotic month ahead and have buried a loved one and now are getting ready to say goodbye to another one.
Death is not the end, it is the best time to make bad jokes. X

Currently working on a new achievement for the gallery... should be up TONIGHT! and taking some time to think about how to improve our current game to get sales up as we cannot put the game on sale to get user base up until the 18th.
*****So far... ideas to get sales up are:
- Finish translations (working on)
- More bewbs in the screenshots
- Changing the trailer video to show in game art.
(...vs the Wallpaper art (which it has atm). We realize it may have misled people, we just did not want to give away content in the trailer. The art in the trailer is my own original art which I mocked up and had commissioned by another artist and... after we got SAINTXTAIL art we decided it would be too weird to have both in-game. )
...I was going to put more BUT the other ideas are not really as much about getting sales up as just improving what is already there. (new levels, things I had mentioned before etc)
I was always a drunk baby, famously I created a dance called 'the drunk baby dance'.

What this means:
***Marketing
Due to a death in the Family we have worked as hard as we can on improving the game itself and ensuring you all feel we are listening to your opinions and using it to improve our game.This also means we have not had too much time to work on the marketing, hence although the game has been steadily getting better our sales metric has not. This was never a huge goal with this project until now... since we cannot add the badges, trading cards etc it is stopping us from making our game A LOT BETTER.
I have tried spending what money I have left on running marketing campaigns etc, using social media and forums etc but it just has not helped the numbers increase very fast.
***Pricing
When we launched HENTAI PUZZLE there was an error with international pricing, a mistake I made. the game was too high for some markets and had asked as soon as we released for the price to be dropped, to what we initially wanted. But it was not able to be changed during that period. This was something we feel that stopped us from getting the numbers up, we did get the quality players though and we thank you all for that and are working hard to make sure you get your months worth. XoxOWe had a customer from Korea who was upset about this, we understand completely and are very sorry we have dropped price so early after release. We leant a lot about NOT releasing during the BEST sale of the year as well lol.
What we hope a lot of you already know is that OUR game is THE MOST RESTRICTED (age gate wise) Hentai game on steam. We made sure, so that we did not expose youth to our content. It came with a penalty, the game is very hard to find as a lot of adult users do not have the settings required to even see our game.
With all this in mind, the solution we have so far is to put our game on sale in the hopes to get enough people to download the game that we can add trading cards, badges, emoticons, wallpapers ASAP.
We would love to hear your thoughts, and make sure we are moving forward with a community that understands the situation we are now in.

We do not want to make any of you feel as though we are giving you the run around or hustling you! hence why we want to explain and give you all a chance to communicate with us. :)
As it stands we are looking at putting the price down to get the numbers up, as we have tried every other angle we can afford at this stage.

It only activates if you have a game to continue, and goes straight to the menu instead of the intro.I think also now we are close to winning or at least tied for the amount of updates to ANY Hentai Puzzle game on steam.

OK so as promised we have done our best to get on top of as much as we can in the short time we have been back.

RIGHT CLICK, to skip dialogue. You can now complete the puzzle and NOT skip through the dialogue, left mouse is still the same but now right click is used to skip through the dialogue.
Fixes for video render crashes, these were caused but screen scaling issues NOT being pushed to the GPU. I hope we have fixed this one, as it was a very saddening one to know players encountered.
Puzzle scale on screen. We have changed the zoom settings so that players can see ALL of the puzzle at one time. Movement on the X and Y axis are both changed. We hope this helps!
Puzzle outline border/guide. This was one that to be honest I am very sorry I did not have sorted out apon release, it was such a chaotic time and I had been studying too much 'the art of creativity'... which led to the illogical decision to NOT include it off the bat. But now it is applied to ALL PUZZLES. Please let me know if there are any screen scaling issues which lead it to become offset.
Individual ecsfx 'complete level sounds' for every stage. This was something we had thrown in more for humor prior to release and thought people may not like it. It was not until I got a message asking for it that we agreed it was a great idea, thank you to our community for making that call. We think it is great! Although still a little quiet behind our music. (working on changing volume levels)
Addtional 'desk' etchings to say thank you to all those who took the time to give us a review. You will all find your names are etched into the desk on which the puzzle piecing takes place. Good and bad, we really appreciate your feedback.
A little bit of dust... just a lite addtional feature is a lite dust particle effect on each puzzle, this was an intial idea to keep the consitency from the petals falling. I think it is a nice addition, please let me know. X
We added a few sketches here, they are a taste of what is to come.
I have read a number of people saying that they wanted more hardcore content, the quality is not up to 'x' standard etc. I fully understand that perspective, I have to rebuttle as say that it was with great honor we found SAINTXTAILS.We greatly respect our artists skills, we also feel that as the chracters are a certain style... that if we used the same detail in art we would actually have a メリークリスマス! (Merry Christmas)

We wanted to create a universe, something to start the ball rolling. This is not our magnum opus, and we are learning but we also have a lot of very solid mentors who guide us with such decisions.
With all that said, as long as valve is ok we aim to deliver the best Hentai games on steam. We are just starting out, help us grow or doubt we can do it but both approaches inspire us and motivate us so we all win in the end.

Gallery IS COMING! but for now please accept that we added a folder with the images from the puzzles, I hope to get the gallery up in the next couple days.
English Voice over. I think this will help our English speaking players who say there is no story or that it is no good to realise that we are bathed in Manga, Anime writing history... we wash our loins midst the constant stream of manga we read. I hope certain elements can be shown, such as the type of humor we are using... which although very dry is rather tested and true.
Japanese text translation. This is one we were very upset we did not have right off the bat. My partner shot overseas back to Japan for the festive season and I was thrown right into organising services for the loss of a loved one. We promise this will be the first Translation, followed by Russian, German, Español... then the World.
I think that is all for now... there is probably more, if you read this before I wake up you might be missing some info about the updates but I assure you they will be in there!

We are back and working on a new update! Thank you all for the great feedback! good bad and the ugly, we really want to grow our community and make sure that the first game is as good as it can possibly be before we work on the translations and the next games. A number of people,

Thank you all for the great feedback! good bad and the ugly, we really want to grow our community and make sure that the first game is as good as it can possibly be before we work on the translations and the next games.
A number of people, including us... have wanted to put in a frame/border for each puzzle to show where the pieces go. We also like this idea as it will mean when we put in achievements you can complete a puzzle without using the puzzle help button in the top right hand corner.
Also on the visual novel side, we are aware a number of players were a little frustrated that they had clicked through the story while trying to do the puzzle, as it is a long wait to get back to that point we fully understand and will look at working on creating a separate visual novel scene for each puzzle which has more functionality.
Gallery, this is the big one and we did know this off the bat hence why when you complete a puzzle you get a smaller image of the completed puzzle. For now I may look at creating a folder within the game folder that you can view the images in. steam>common>puzzleimages or somewhere like that. I will list exact location as soon as implemented.
There have been a couple of criticisms of the artwork not being HENTAI enough, while we fully understand that, please bear with us that valve has very strict polices and that we have to test the waters.
Our game was put on a hold due to the adults only content and we had to tone it down prior to the initial release date. Having taken that step we lose most of the market. We fully believe that we should be able to put what we like into the game.... but appreciate valves policys and we have proper Hentai, but the story is also based on the lead evolving with his artwork. So we are drip feeding the hardcore content and accessing whether to upgrade the games rating to more AO. In HENTAI PUZZLE we slowly built up to more racey content to coincide with the narrative.
Ah... thinking... achievements are another big one, we knew that if we just put in the puzzles and the achievements we would have more sales... but yes we would have MADE just another HENTAI GAME. We wanted to create a universe, as we are avid anime and manga fans our goal is to create a universe. Being novice universe builders... we are learning along the way.
Initially the story was to revolve around an older Erika-Sama and be more horror based, that was to coincide with Halloween, but we missed our window for release and had to pivot so now it looks like it will be a dlc. That was the narrative and story which we developed the most.
Please continue to feel ask questions as well!
We are working on fully voice acting the English version as soon as possible and implementing. I feel the voice acting will bring a great amount of understanding and relevance to the comedy so we can't wait to share that! After that we aill aim to focus on JP translation.
Apologies that this is all over the place, I have had a death in the family and it has been a crazy time where I was away from all technology for 6 days... no wi-fi, no cellphone reception... just the wilderness. I really needed the break as trying to get the game ready these last 6 months has been a very intense time.
