Tips, taunts & auto-grappling update
We improved the tutorial section of the game (by revising the texts and adding videos) and added gameplay hints (loading screen tips and hints disguised as enemies' game over taunts) that address undocumented features and suggest good strategies. Enemies now also use regular text
We improved the tutorial section of the game (by revising the texts and adding videos) and added gameplay hints (loading screen tips and hints disguised as enemies' game over taunts) that address undocumented features and suggest good strategies. Enemies now also use regular text-based taunts to provoke the player.
We also added an optional auto-grappling feature where the players start grappling automatically when walking into enemies like in old-school arcade beat 'em ups.
The difficulty was slightly adjusted (mostly by adding a few more enemies and making some enemy types stronger) to make overall level of difficulty higher as the game progresses. Health was slightly reduced from the weakest of enemies on low difficulties.
The time enemies and players spent lying on ground chilling when knocked down was reduced.
The ball props were made less bouncy to give the player a better chance to dodge them.
Lighting was also also improved from most of the levels.
