Fixes

Fixed a bug preventing players from activating the Pasta specialization for the restaurant.
Fixed Beverages from the Cocktail DLC not having tier 2 and 3 counterparts.
Removed the penalty related to making desserts with fish, meat, or vegetable ingredients.
Fixed several pre-made recipes to have proper ingredients or balanced ratings.
Fixed an issue with two different dessert-related menu perks activating at the same time.
Fixed a missing string related to dessert menu specialization.
Slightly rebalanced some customer categories.
The late-game repeatable task dedicated to serving gourmets now gives twice the amount of skill points and two ingredient points.
Active Skills have been changed to be more impactful.

Fixed some missing string and images
Flour is now correctly tagged as Carbs
The following ingredients are now available at game start without the need of unlocking them: Stock, Vegetable Stock, Almond, Noodles.
The Sauteed Veggies Template is now unlocked at game start.
Ramen Templates now have the Editor Perk Complex Recipe instead of Balanced Recipe.
More Recipes can now be used as Side Dishes.

Added 14 new ingredients: Feta, Goose, Marjoram, Pheasant, Plantain, Port Wine, Sumac, Tahini, Venison, Vodka, Whiskey, Wild Boar, Goat, Pigeon.
Hungarian Localization is now available.
Fixed an issue with the Story Mode which prevented the ending to trigger properly.
Improved a few textures which appeared too blurry.
Optimized the size of several textures to improve performances.
Reduced the rate of customers with green or pink hair.
Fixed a few strings which would not localize properly.
Fixed strings in the following languages: Italian, Polish, Chinese, German, Turkish.
Fixed an issue with Recipe Perks not activating at the correct threshold.
Rebalanced the effects of Calendar Perks to create a more engaging game flow.

Added 36 furnishing pieces, unlocked using a new decision.
Added a new parsing system allowing players to fully see the requirements of each specialization, and their progress towards them.
When an active Specialization's requirements are no longer met, it is now possible to see what's missing in the Specialization's tooltip.
Fixed the requirements of Carbs Conglomerate decision to make it work properly.
Fixed the missing icon for Coconut Milk.
Fixed Wasabi not having flavor matches.
Fixed Rice missing flavor matches.
Fixed a few missing strings in the DLC.
Fixed a few strings in the following languages: Polish, Russian, German, Portuguese.
Some Specializations are easier to get.
Improved compatibility with 21:9, 32:9, and 4:3 resolution ratios.

A DLC is also going to be released soon, dedicated to Eastern Asian cooking, featuring Recipes, Templates, Ingredients, and decorations from Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cooking traditions!
New Chefs will be able to get into the kitchen today at a discounted rate, as the game will be on a celebratory sale.

Our work on Chef is not over yet! We are already working on the next free content update, which will focus on improving the late-game gameplay by offering more challenges and things to do.
Changelog
Added a Specialization Mechanic, allowing the player to specialize the restaurant and face additional challenges to get more customers. The player will have access to the following specializations: Sandwiches, Seafood, Meat, Pasta, Fried Food, Desserts, Salads, Soups, Vegetarian, Vegan, Low-cost Food, Tourist Trap, Few Ingredients.
Each specialization will grant special bonuses, but the player will have to satisfy specific requirements.
Added several new customizations for all Vegetable-based Templates to let players create better-looking and more varied recipes.
Added new, unique images for the Ice Cream Template.
Added new unique Decorations: two different formats of a big panel for photos, with several variants.
Added Green Beans and Dill as Ingredients.
Added German as language.

Fixed some issues on restaurants 901 and 902, not allowing to hang pictures properly.
Balanced the customers' expectations and the late-game difficulty.
Fixed some broken strings.
Fixed some minor issues with the Russian localization.
Slightly reduced the consumption of RAM and VRAM.
The startup loading is now faster.
Changed the buttons for Texture customizations in decorations to make them clearer.

Polish Localization Available

Added new Ingredients-related Perks: having a lot or not enough ingredients in the menu will grant various bonuses and penalties.
Added two buttons allowing to upgrade and downgrade the Ingredients in a Custom Recipe.

Fixed an issue with restaurants in the backgrounds not giving Skill Points to the Staff properly.

This may come as a surprise, but a few more messed up strings have been fixed.
Fixed an issue that could break savegames with more than a restaurant. Broken savegames can now be loaded without issues.
Fixed the issue with advanced Marketing Policies not unlocking anymore.
Fixed an issue with Minor Events not spawning properly.
Fixed an issue with the Alert related to Minor Events not disappearing.
Fixed some missing Event images.
The walls of a few restaurants have been fixed to avoid some items disappearing in them while furnishing.
Fixed an issue with the pass of some restaurants not displaying dishes properly.
Reviews will no longer create Alerts.
Added a few new Menu Perks.
Removed a few templates that were cut in earlier versions of the game but were still showing up in the Recipe Editor.

Hello fellow Chefs! We fixed a few issues and made some Quality of Life improvements. Here's the changelog for version 1.0.1!

When changing the position of furnishing items, their rotation will be preserved.
Edited Custom Recipes will now retain their price if they are on the menu.
Fixed an issue with Restaurants 101 and 102 allowing to place furniture on the windows close to the door.
Fixed a rare issue preventing saves to work properly due to a deleted Custom Recipe.
The Meat Stew Template can now be used to create Soups
Fixed the price of Tea Recipe being too high.
Mortadella (the Ingredient) has now proper flavor matches.
Fixed a few mismatched or missing strings.
The "Faster Than Light" skill Tier for waiters have been changed.
Achievements should now unlock more reliably, but never during the Tutorial.
Changed the order of the Salad Skill Category in radials to match the order in the Side Staff Panel.
Fixed an issue with an Air Conditioner not retaining its customized color.
Fixed some minor events without proper tooltip on the choices.
Fixed an issue with draggable UI pieces, like recipes and ingredients, that could make them break out of the UI and float around the screen. Now, unless someone starts dragging an ingredient and smashing all buttons of the keyboard for a couple minutes while moving the mouse like an insane person, the issue won't happen again.
The Restaurants Panel now shows all data as intended.

The time has come, Chef has finally left the Early Access! It has been a wonderful journey, during which we had the chance to meet some many awesome people from all around the world. Your feedbacks and support had been invaluable for us, and allowed us to work with passion and mo
The time has come, Chef has finally left the Early Access! It has been a wonderful journey, during which we had the chance to meet some many awesome people from all around the world. Your feedbacks and support had been invaluable for us, and allowed us to work with passion and motivation in the last 18 months.
But the journey is not over! While Chef is ready for its full release, we are definitely unwilling to abandon it. There are already plans for future updates, both in terms of contents and features, and we are eager to welcome all the newcomer chefs that will join our brigade in the next weeks!

Here’s the changelog for version 1.0:

Added minor events: according to the restaurant performances, the staff morale, and the adopted policies, some minor events may trigger in the restaurant.
Added two new difficulty settings, one providing a more relaxed experience and one capable of pushing every chef’s skills to the limit.
Added a Sandbox Mode with a massive amount of money available right at the beginning. The feature is experimental, please let us know what you think about it and what would you add to it!
Fixed several walls not showing paintings properly.
Fixed the stacking alerts not working properly before reaching the modifiers’ cap.

Added an option to turn off the Camera Edge Scrolling,
Added a banner to clearly highlight that the game is paused.
Ambient sounds will now be turned off when turning off SFXs.
When trying to unpause when an Alert is forcing the pause, a proper visual effect will highlight the Alerts.
The Microwave's Perk icon has been fixed.
A Steamer is now available by default at the beginning of the game instead of being unlocked while progressing.
Fixed a few broken strings showing wrong data.
Removed an old event adding Tasks that was obsolete.
Added a visual feedback to alert the player when a certain Tool with modifiers will no longer have its effects stack with the others.
Dishwashers now only stack up to three times.

Added five new Templates for recipe creation: Sandwich, Grilled Sandwich, Hamburger, Fish Burger, Veggie Burger
Reworked how the Skill and Ingredient Points are gained. There is a new panel dedicated to Cyclic Tasks.
Added several new Cyclic Tasks, only availble when starting a new game to avoid breaking the game's balance.
Moved the Tasks to a different Panel on the left area of the screen.
Added a button to remove all Influence from a certain Neighborhood.
All Menu Perks are now shown greyed, allowing players to know what Perks are available and what to do to activate them.
Added a button in the Menu Panel to import Custom Recipes from different save games.
It is now possible to Move to a new place inside the Influence Area of the current Restaurant.
The UI now clearly shows the Restaurant owning a certain Influence Area.
Fixed a Major issue with Restaurants and Influence Points. The fix is save-compatible.
Fixed the missing main character string being broken after the previous update.
Restaurants have now a number to help identify them.
Improved the Tutorial with blocked buttons to focus the player's attention on the matter at hand.
Added a proper preparation time to all recipes, some of them will be quick to prepare on the counter, others will require Chefs to work for longer.
Fixed a minor issue on the map when starting a New Game without restarting the game.
