Patch v1.2 - Stealth mechanics update now live!
To celebrate the stealth update for AKAI NOROI the game is 50% off for two weeks running from June 22th 12:00 pm ( US Pacific time ) to July 6th 12:00 pm!
This update brings new mechanics to AKAI NOROI and implements stealth mechanics in many of the levels, the sleeping quarters, the basement domain of the yurei, AIKO's School & the sewers section.
This will enable the player to hide from enemies in various ways including lockers, crevices and under tables. This is done in order to make the game a bit easier during some sections and give the player a chance to catch their breath and explore the environment more as well as dig into the lore pages hidden within the areas. Thanks to all the players for your feedback.
Patch notes:

UI Updates in almost the entire game and new red colored theme.
AI tweaks / balancing.
Stealth mechanics in various levels, you can now hide in lockers, crevices and under tables.
Minor fixes + Trigger hints near some puzzles.
Some new scares / audio.
Big thanks to all who support me!

*Changes*

Full controller support and support for PS4 / XBOX Controller through auto detection, connect controller before starting the game, hit the x button in right corner below in main menu.
Auto save's indicated by disc in top right corner and manual saving working properly. Should now also save saveables such as pickups and doors plus journals.
Full body awareness (you can see your body in game now)
A new and updated game UI that's more intuitive and polished.
Brand new main menu.
Complete game overhaul, updated engine version and system.
New in game ambiance by composer SINIUS
Enemy balancing / enemy encounters / spawn / enemy damage output reduced + tweaking. Fixed a bug where some of the enemies could not detect you when prone / crouched.
Candles burn extremely slow now. Also fixed a bug with candles not reducing in size and with array being too small causing them to disappear when combined sometimes. The lighter now has unlimited uses and there are more candles in the sleeping quarters. Combine 1 candle with the lighter to turn it on, wait till it burns out before turning on a new one, or it gets put back in your inventory accessible by pressing tab.
Additional 3D HUD navigational helpers various places
New enemy in depths of the yurei sewer domain
New in game events in multiple levels + environmental updates in multiple levels
Complete game overhaul in terms of level load structure and updated graphics
Now support inverted mouse look as requested by a player, available in Options section.

Launch bug fix patch v1.0 day 2 for AKAI NOROI NOW LIVE
UPDATE 7/25 - Still investigating save issue which will be fixed / replaced in 1-2 weeks or less in a new patch, all other bugs have been fixed. Thanks! UPDATE 7/26 - New updates live and changelog updated. Atm saving is only working in AKIOs apartment, Hallway01 and AKIO_Revelat
