The app is a free download that offers a trial play of the game, letting you try the first few stages and the 60-second Time Attack. Then you can decide, optionally, to pay and unlock the full game—and get everything!

ICYMI, we just released Lumines Arise, the first brand-new Lumines game in over a decade, on Steam. And we think you'll like it! Plus, there's a 10% launch discount for the first two weeks (ends 11/25/25).
View game pageIt's got a single-player Journey mode with over 35 stages, a new approach to multiplayer (online, local, VS CPU), and a new Burst mechanic that'll boost your scores and clear your playfield.
The game is packed with content, but here are just a few things that might specifically tempt YOU as a Lumines Remastered player:
Challenges - Found in the second tab of the Missions mode, these variations on Lumines' gameplay will stretch your understanding of the classic puzzle mechanics in ways never explored in a Lumines game.
Dig Down - A brand-new, downstacking-focused mode found within the Leaderboard League of the Multiplayer Hub. This is a score-based challenge where the entire stack is raised at various milestones and you see how long you can survive. The Timeline starts to speed up as you clear Squares, too.
Weekend Loomii Live events - A 72-hour community challenge that starts on Fridays and runs through Monday. Meet a community goal by playing any mode in the Multiplayer Hub (including single-player score-chased ones) and you'll nab rewards and maybe even a special Loomii avatar part if the goal is met!

LOS ANGELES, Calif., August 26, 2025 — Enhance, the award-winning game developer and publisher behind Tetris® Effect: Connected and Rez Infinite, announced that a limited-time demo of their highly-anticipated upcoming puzzle game LUMINES ARISE is available now to play on PlayStation®5 and Steam (as of 6am Pacific time, today), and includes the new multiplayer Burst Battle mode, which is being shown to the public for the first time ever.
Enhance also revealed that the full game will be launching on November 11th, and that players can pre-order the game as of today – both the standard edition ($39.99 USD / €39,99 EUR / ¥5,400 JPY), and Digital Deluxe Edition ($44.99 USD / €44,99 EUR / ¥5,900 JPY) (which includes Avatars and name plates from other game franchises, including beloved PlayStation series ASTRO BOT and previous Enhance games like Tetris Effect: Connected.
