Our festive update for Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour is now available. With this update we have introduced turn resistance that allows the player to influence the direction that the fish is swimming leading to reduced fish fight times.
When completing the Dovetail Live Mastery challenges you will now be able to keep track of your progress in game. Head into the Dovetail Live menu and you get the option to look at your Mastery Challenges or check out the latest news.
In your Customise menu you can now filter your items when creating a tackle box to make finding specific items easier.
Alongside this update we have our Festive Mastery challenges in which you can unlock a set of reindeer antlers with a glowing nose. Anyone that missed out on last year’s Christmas clothing will also receive the Santa hat and t-shirt. There is also a new community challenge in which the community can unlock wintery themed beanie hats. Catch a fish while logged in to Dovetail Live while the challenge is running and once it is completed you will be eligible to unlock the rewards.

This perfectly formed venue of 18 acres is steeped in history and feels like time has stood still with ancient stone walls and mature foliage whilst the superb water quality makes it perfect for big bream to grow on. The lough is visited by some of the best anglers in Europe who are all chasing the elusive records it holds including ‘Banshee’ that has been caught at an incredible 21lbs.
Although all the attention is on the bream fishing, this lake also holds carp to just under 25lbs and good sized tench, roach and rudd. There are also three single player tournaments for you to master and three career mode events, as well as five new achievements that come with this venue.

Talon Fishery is the epitome of an English pleasure fishing complex which gives you four separate lakes in one venue. Each contain their own stock of fish and species and are perfect for honing your match and float fishing skills. All four of the established lakes has specimen sized fish including catfish, bream, tench, roach and rudd. Carp to just over 30lbs can be found in the main, central lake.
You will need all your skill as well as finesse to cast accurately and then stop the fish from disappearing behind the islands, bridges and walkways that fill this complex. In the heart of Peru surrounded by the Amazonian rainforest lies Lagunas Iquitos. This remote lake is home to two new species of fish - the peacock bass and giant wolf fish. Alongside the two new species you will also find monster arapaima, redtail catfish and black pacu.

Narrow channels, vegetation and shallows that a traditional boat couldn’t reach means that the ‘Haichou Explorer’ kayak that comes with this pack is vital for exploring the lake and tracking down some of the beastly trophy fish living within.
The beautiful peacock bass fights harder than all other bass and can be found up to an incredible 23lbs. The terrifying looking wolf fish can grow up to 38lbs but with huge, razor sharp teeth, you will need strong gear.
Catch Arapaima that grow up to a huge 450lbs, red tail catfish go to 120lbs and black pacu up to 70lbs. Laguna Iquitos also has 25 new trophy fish and 3 new career events for you to master.
With 1,500 acres of lake to fish from the water or shoreline including narrow, twisting sections through to open expanses of water, you will need to utilise all of your skill, watercraft and equipment to discover everything this venue has to offer.
Laguna Iquitos comes with its own set of Mastery challenges with clothing rewards suited towards the rainforest environment. From newly announced partner AFTCO we are adding 5 pieces of clothing with 4 t-shirts and a hoodie. Career sponsor Free Spirit Fishing are having two of their rods added to the game, the 13ft ‘Hi S’ Carp Rod and 10ft Bank Cat S Rod.
As you may have seen on our social media pages, there are 4 new sponsor companies in Career Mode. The US Angling Confederation, BassBoat4Sale.com, Great Clips and The CARP Bible have all joined the Pro Tour.

We have three tackle companies making their first appearances in Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour including a top of the range 625 bass boat from Blazer Boats and the Phenom + Ippon ranges of rods and reels from Enigma. For our carp anglers, we are adding the Propel rod from Trakker, the first time we are featuring their rods in game.

In this update we have introduced a new way for you to play and earn unique rewards in game with the Dovetail Live Mastery System. Five of our lakes will have a set of challenges divided in to three tiers. Complete a tier of challenges and you will receive an in-game reward as well as unlcoking the next tier.
In addition to this the update has general improvements and gameplay fixes. Based on your feedback we have now increased the bite rate for pike on Wraysbury and we have adjusted the models for the salmon species.

The Tournament Bass Pack is the newest two-lake pack to be released for Fishing Sim World: Pro Tour. Follow in the footsteps of many famous anglers as you try to locate the trophy bass on renowned tournament venues Lake Seminole and Lake Jordan.
Lake Seminole, located on the Georgia-Florida border, has a climate that is ideal for largemouth bass to grow huge with a current record of 16lb 4oz. A popular venue on the Fishing League Worldwide tour with winners here including career mode angler Brian Latimer. This beautiful venue boasts longnose gar in excess of 30lb and huge channel over 44lbs!
Lake Jordan is situated in Chatham County, North Carolina and is a man-made reservoir. In the Tournament Bass Pack we will be recreating the New Hope River section of the lake. A fixture on the Major League Fishing Bass Pro tour, this picturesque landscape may look idyllic but catching the biggest fish from its depths is no easy task. Set in the hot, sun drenched region of Andalucia in Southern Spain, Lago del mundo (Lake of the World) has a reputation as a serious big fish venue. Covering over 1000 acres, this is the first lake to give the option of fishing from static locations (pegs) around the lake or take
Set in the hot, sun drenched region of Andalucia in Southern Spain, Lago del mundo (Lake of the World) has a reputation as a serious big fish venue.
Covering over 1000 acres, this is the first lake to give the option of fishing from static locations (pegs) around the lake or take to the water in the brand new rigid inflatable boat, the Haichou Levante. Fishing from pegs around the lake offers you the chance to fish for monster catfish that have grown to 200lbs in this rich environment and carp to over 70lb.
Jumping into the RIB will let you explore the vast environment and spin for largemouth (black) bass to try and land some of the named trophy bass in the lake. There are also zander, pike and perch out there for you to catch.
Lago del mundo offers you the variety of fishing styles and species to suit everyone's tastes. Plus it has the size of fish that you will normally only find in angler's tales!

Located in Minnesota, Lake Dylan covers over 2000 acres and has plenty of contrasting environments for you to explore. From docks and jetties around the semi-urban areas of the lake to the shorelines of the farms and forests, trolling around the perimeter of this lake offers lots

The main body of the lake shouldn’t be ignored either with significant depth changes in open water as well as islands with houses and structures to target.
As well as containing trophy-sized bass to over 8lbs and Northern Pike in excess of 45lbs, this lake also contains giant Muskie, Tiger Muskie and Longnose Gar with the Muskie growing to a huge 53lbs. With such a vast lake and huge fish to target, your skills and the strength of your equipment is going to be tested to the limit!
