For the past two decades, my friend Brian Swahn and I have been creating games that capture the sense of adventure and imagination we experienced while playing Dungeons and Dragons as kids. We founded our company to stay connected and continue working together, even as our lives took us in different directions we were able to create The Great Gaias and Gjallarhorn. Now, we're excited to embark on a new venture and bring our games back to their roots of tabletop gaming, where we believe they can truly shine and bring people together in new and exciting ways.

Our passion for creating games that capture the imagination and sense of adventure that we felt as kids has never wavered. We want to create immersive experiences that transport players to new worlds and connect them with others around the table. By supporting our campaign, you'll be helping us achieve our dream and bring these games to life for a new generation of players.
In return for your support, we're offering a range of rewards that include exclusive access to limited edition merchandise, our digital collection of works, and even the chance to design your own character in our new campaign setting.
Even if you can't contribute financially, you can still help us spread the word and make this campaign a success.
Please visit our Kickstarter page to learn more about our project and consider supporting us.
Thank you for your support and for helping us bring these games back to life, your support is truly appreciated.
Best regards,

We’ve just created a Beta Build branch for The Great Gaias.
It has updated engine features which should prevent the horrible desktop crash when internet loss happens. While we believe this update shouldn't have any negative side effects to the game, we are not 100% positive that there could be some unforeseen issue that crops up from it. Because of this we decided to make it a beta branch before introducing it into the main build branch of the game. If you right-click on The Great Gaias and go to "properties" you can select "Betas" and find this build on the list. Not only should this fix the internet loss crash, but it should also allow Steam Overlay to work properly.
Again, this build has not been tested yet. I'm going to slowly test a playthrough myself before releasing it into the main build branch. I wanted to make an announcement here in case anyone has been thinking of playing or replaying The Great Gaias. If so, I would much appreciate it if you played it on the Beta Build so more testing can be done.

When we started working on Gjallarhorn over four years ago, we had a vision to make something new, something that beloved fans of both WRPGs and JRPGs could immerse themselves in. We are proud to announce the release of our second title, Gjallarhorn. Gjallarhorn merges the open world, choice and consequence design philosophy of the west and combines it with the story, character and style of the east.
We have come to call this new archetype a Western Fusion RPG, a unique blend of the aforementioned, wrapped up tightly with a job class system and fueled by the d20 ruleset. We hope that this new chapter of our world finds you well, adventurer!
Having considerably enjoyed working on this title, we realized how much we missed the tabletop experience. We have decided to return to our roots to bring these new systems, characters from our hand-crafted world to an upcoming campaign setting called The Codex Eternal. Be sure to look out for more news soon, and remember, where the horizon ends, the journey begins!

We are happy to announce that The Great Gaias OST is now available for download in the Steam Store!
The original soundtrack to The Great Gaias features over two hours of symphonic music with a total of (52) songs. The soundtrack was originally created with an idea of and using music as the tonal based narrative driving the compelling story that we crafted. Inspiration was drawn from the old school RPG years of the SNES. The soundtrack was composed by Aaron Krogh and Bryan Davis.

After two long delays we are finally ready to announce our official release date for Gjallarhorn, January 10th, 2023.
We were really hoping to get the game out in November of this year but due to personal obligation Gjallarhorn had to take a backseat for some time. We are still thinking about releasing an early access version sometime during November, if so, I’ll make another announcement letting everyone know.
The Great Gaias is also on sale this week at 50% off in celebration of our Gjallarhorn release announcement!

Phase 3 of the Gjallarhorn closed beta is now live. At this point we don’t expect many issues pertaining to game systems, so the focus of phase 3 and beyond will be story thread continuity and game balance. Because Gjallarhorn has a choice and consequence-based story design we want to make sure every story thread is tied up nicely.
This will be the last chance to join the closed beta so if you are interested, please join our discord and private message me (Pots Talos). Phase 4 will only be made available to people who are currently testers and those who join up for phase 3.
We had originally hoped to have Gjallarhorn early access out by the end of 2021, but there were still some issues we had to iron out. So, instead we have been holding a closed Beta to help address some of the bigger bugs before we look to early access. Phase 1 of our closed Beta

Phase 1 of our closed Beta is coming to an end, and we will be entering Phase 2 of our closed Beta shortly. If anyone is interested in entering our closed Beta, please join us on our Discord.
Phase 2 is for the first two chapters of the game. But it's the first two chapters for each of the four starting areas. Which should be a decent amount of gameplay if you decide to play each starting area.
Please keep in mind that the closed Beta is pre early access so you should expect more issues during gameplay (crashes, stability problems, soft locks, broken systems).

From balancing to bug fixes there has been a lot of feedback from our testers. We are patching the game weekly and are working hard to make sure Gjallarhorn will have the smoothest launch possible once it is ready for release.
If you haven't already wish listed Gjallarhorn be sure to do so and if you are interested in joining a future phase of our closed beta than please join our Discord where we will be making announcements on beta recruitment once phase 1 is done.
In the meantime, while you wait for Gjallarhorn why don't you refresh your memory of the lore by playing The Great Gaias!
