Available for free, the Definitive Edition update brings with it new content and features, including two new dungeons, game modifiers, tracking achievements in-game and other improvements to the game. With this last major update to the game, The Adventures of Elena Temple now fea
Available for free, the Definitive Edition update brings with it new content and features, including two new dungeons, game modifiers, tracking achievements in-game and other improvements to the game.
With this last major update to the game, The Adventures of Elena Temple now features:

3 dungeons with a total of 100+ rooms to overcome, each its own mini-level
Unique gameplay elements for each dungeon
Open exploration, choose which way to go, but don't worry, a helpful map is just one button press away
Challenging, old-school platforming
Put your puzzle solving skills to the test and figure out how to collect all the coins, gems, hearts and so on
Track the progress of all 40 achievements in-game
Unlockable game modifiers for completely new ways to experience the game
Secrets and easter eggs to find for the more observant player
Play on a selection of 7 virtual old machines, from the Pomo D'or 4, to Maple and Some Toy and all the way to the NS-Bos PC

The Adventures of Elena Temple: Definitive Edition will be available on December 24th as a free content update and will include:

2 new dungeons, totaling 47 new rooms - some very well hidden - with unique gameplay elements
20 new achievements, for a total of 40 - their progress is now also available in-game
Unlockable game modifiers - Limited Lives, Campfires, Double Jumps, Infinite Ammo - combine them for unique gameplay experiences
On the fly switching between the virtual old machines
Various tweaks to the rooms in the original dungeon, now dubbed Chalice of the Gods - you got shivers, didn't you?
Overall improvements: new background in the selection screen, new pixel art splash image, dungeon selection screen, game modifiers screen etc.

The Definitive Edition will only be available for Windows users. All support for the Mac version of the game ended with version 1.2.0.
In the following days there will be various changes to the achievements list and the Steam page in preparation for the December 24th update.

What's new in Update 1.1
It's official! Update 1.1 for The Adventures of Elena Temple comes to Steam on May 28th. It feels better, shakes better and challenges better! And it'll sure be worth it to have a vibrations supporting controller nearby! But enough from me, here's more from myself on what the new
It's official! Update 1.1 for The Adventures of Elena Temple comes to Steam on May 28th. It feels better, shakes better and challenges better! And it'll sure be worth it to have a vibrations supporting controller nearby!
But enough from me, here's more from myself on what the new update includes:

Stats screen with various info about your playthrough, like the time played, number deaths, enemies killed etc. and also the best values for these fields over all your playthroughs
Medals for each field in the Stats screen, get them like a pro by finishing the game in less than 40 minutes, dying less than 20 times, shooting less than 100 bullets and more
Screen shakes for all, including on death, enemy kills, walls move or destroy and many more
Vibrations for controllers supporting this feature
Lots of improvements to the final rooms of the game
5 challenging new achievements to unlock
New music tracks for the secret rooms, final rooms and post game credits
A bunch of bug fixes, tweaks and even optimizations, not that those were really necessary
Save icon to indicate when the game is, uhm, saved..
