Hello gamers! This update addresses a few small bugs that were mentioned in our community hub during this past week. Thank you to those who posted and let us know how our game can be improved.

Fixes

Level information screen now shows the proper "Bacteria Power Per Turn" as it was not being set correctly and always showed "100" (thanks for bringing this to our attention in the community hub!)
We disabled the intro video so that you guys can get into the game even faster!

Fixed tutorial UI bouncing too much

Fixes

Game no longer auto-pauses when the app is unfocused (thanks for bringing this to our attention in the community hub!)
You can no longer interact with the game while it is not the active application
Updated Background Movement setting to also toggle bacteria eyes movement
Fixed bug causing soft-lock when app is unfocused during grid generation
QA for Linux completed
Known Bugs

When the app regains focus, sometimes all the sfx played while the app was out of focus will play to catch up. If you plan on playing the game in windowed mode, and will be toggling between it and other apps, we recommend turning off sfx until we can resolve this bug
Some minor visuals don't update correctly while the app is out of focus (they seem to fix themselves when you focus on the app)
If you find any issues or bugs, please do not hesitate to post in the forums and let us know immediately

Hello! This update is a very small, quick update to fix an important feature: Leaderboards. Now, when you look at a leaderboard, it will show you the top 50 entries on the list. We will look into adding a button that allows you to see the full leaderboard as well.

When you open a leaderboard, if you are within the top 50 entries, the scroll view will try to scroll to your entry
Leaderboards in-game have also been updated slightly
Known bugs

The bacteria bonus stat shown in the level info panel seems to be stuck at 100
Sometimes, when scrolling to your entry in the leaderboard view, it will not always scroll to the right location.

Fixed bug causing end-level leaderboard appearing during game in 4:3 ratios
Fixed bug causing invisible UI to block pause button in game
Changed balance of Bulletproof Bugs: doses per turn is now 4, and bacteria bonus power is 40
Improved spanish translations in a few spots
Improved scaling of main menu ui elements for 4:3 aspect ratios

Today is the day... We are incredibly excited to release our first game today. Containment will be going live at noon (EST), and we hope that you all enjoy this game. We've been working very hard to ensure that, in spite of it's short play time, the content is as polished and fun

We are incredibly excited to release our first game today. Containment will be going live at noon (EST), and we hope that you all enjoy this game. We've been working very hard to ensure that, in spite of it's short play time, the content is as polished and fun as possible.

We care about our games, and we want to make sure you have a good experience playing them. If you're running into a problem, do not hesitate to post in the community hub or send us an email at [email protected]. We've listed a few bugs below that we are aware of, so please bear with us while we try to address them in an update soon.
Release Notes
Known Bugs

Leaderboards don't update immediately. Steam is saving everyone's scores, but it takes a while for our UI to respond. Might be related to slow internet issues, so we are looking into a solution that saves scores locally for immediate viewing.
Some resolutions result in weird visual bugs (stay away from 4:3 resolutions for now)
Some of our Spanish translations may not be perfect, please let us know if anything is wrong and we will address it asap.
