Added a new level to the game. This level is available to everyone from the start, regardless of where you currently are in your progress.
Translated the Settings menu and the new level.
Fixed several issues with text being cut off on all menus (Some are still present)
Fixed several localization issues
Fixed some issues regarding controller support not working on all menus.
KNOWN ISSUES:

You need to press pause and then resume on the new level to get your controls working (Will be patched in a hotfix ASAP)
Russian text on the pause menu may appear to be cut off

Localization Update v2.8.0 (April 19th)
The Localization update is here! Patch Notes Added the Russian Language Completely changed the fonts in the game to be more compatible with the Cyrillic AND Latin alphabets. Small bug fixes in preparation for the end of April release. What IS NOT TRANSLATED: Poems (Coming Soon) P

Completely changed the fonts in the game to be more compatible with the Cyrillic AND Latin alphabets.
Small bug fixes in preparation for the end of April release.
What IS NOT TRANSLATED:

Settings Menu (Coming Soon)
Redesigned the handwritten font in the journals to allow Cyrillic.
Added a Language Option at the bottom of the settings menu to switch languages. Click the desired language and allow the game to momentarily load the language you selected.
Changed the way the game is packaged to allow a better and faster update system. This is why the update is ~400MB.
Known Issues

Missing capitalizations in Russian translations
Text may clip off screen at times due to the new font style and sizes.
This update brings the Russian language to most parts of the game, including all menus and instructional widgets. Support for additional languages is also now possible, and more languages may be added in the future if demand calls for them.
Additionally, all fonts have been changed to allow for cyrillic and latin letters to coexist with no foreseen issues. This includes the journal entries and menus.
HOW TO REPORT BAD OR MISSING TRANSLATIONS
This is an easy one. If you are reporting multiple bad or missing translations , please send an email to [email protected]. You will be credited for everything that you contribute. If you are reporting one bad or missing translation , please use the discussion forums on Steam OR send an email to [email protected].
What’s next?
A new content drop will be ready by the end of April or the first week of May. As we get closer, I will be able to set an exact release date. This drop brings with it a new poem level and new music. New parchments will be arriving soon after that.

Upcoming Update 2.8.0 (Language Support) April 19th, 2018
The 2.8.0 version of Immersive Poetry will be releasing on April 19th. This update will add the Russian language to the game, as well as support for other languages in the future. What ISN'T translated? Everything in the game has been localized excluding the extras menu poems and

Hello players! The Q1 update is here, complete with some awesome new things to play with! The patch notes are available below, along with what's coming next.
Patch Notes

Full Controller Support is officially here, including UI navigation! Controls can be seen in the controls menu. Hopefully. key remapping will most likely be possible in the future!
XInput AND DirectInput Gamepads and Joysticks are both now compatible.
Added a toggleable banner to the main menu. This banner will be used for announcements in the future and will be clickable.
Included the free open source software "x360ce" for those with DirectInput gamepads that would like to use an emulator in the game files.
Redesigned the mouse cursor to be a quill.
Redesigned the main menu for Spring!
Added a new creature to the Underwater level to make it feel more populated. This will be part of a new goal for this level soon. Watch your heads!
Made the final code MUCH easier to spot in the journal entries by adding additional numbers to the pages. I apologize for the tardiness of this fix.

Microstutter when using a controller and changing movement directions
Photomode can't be opened with a DirectInput Controller (Must be using the xInput API)
Mouse Cursor being reset to default windows cursor after exiting the main menu
Controller start button needs to be pressed multiple times to pause or unpause the game.

Upcoming
Work has already begun on the second quarter update. This update will be split into two parts, each one including new content (at least one additional level in each). I am currently in the process of creating the environment art for the first new level. It will be slightly longer and more involved than the ones currently available. While I don't have an exact release date planned yet, I would estimate that work will be wrapping up around the end of April/Mid May for the first part and the end of June for the second. There will be several smaller updates along the way as well.

Update v2.0.5 (February 5th, 2018)
Patch Notes Fixed an issue that caused the player to die on the Four Ages of Man if they did not exit the level fast enough after winning. Addressed an issue (hopefully fixed) that caused the boat to become unusable on a Boat Beneath a Sunny Sky if the player had already finished

I apologize for this patch being so small. A teaser trailer for Thalasse Games' next endeavor is in the making, and most time has been spent on this. Additionally, in the process of updating Immersive Poetry's engine version, something broke, and the project had to be reconstructed using a previous version. This may lead to unforeseen bugs. The studio is monitoring and testing gameplay to ensure that no major issues have been missed.
