We started to suspect there are more than a few people who are on the edge and maybe thinking they'd buy the game when it's out and not bother with the Kickstarter hassle. That's fair, of course, but to sweeten the deal a bit, we cooked a little bonus for all the backers, that we like to call the FOMO Package!
Special Backer FOMO Package! ALL (€12+) Kickstarter backers will receive:
And that's not all! We're also going to offer some bonuses if we reach the funding goal before the campaign ends on Saturday! Read more from our latest Kickstarter update!

We will play Ignis Universia's demo there and have a nice chat. It'll be fun and you can also ask anything about Ignis Universia, Kickstarter campaign, game development, you name it! Join us on Twitch!

What Has Changed?
Yes, we already tried Kickstarter in the summer and fell short of the funding goal pretty significantly, so why do we believe we'll make it this time?
There are several things that have changed in the past few months, the most notable being that the game is a lot closer to completion than it was back then. We received a lot of feedback from the demo during the Kickstarter and the subsequent Steam Next Fest and adjusted the design accordingly (here's some more info on that). The design is now much more concise and aligned with the first game The Chosen Sisters Saga. That allows us to go for a shorter playtime and along with the work done on the game during the latter half of the year, a considerably lower funding goal. With more time to iterate on the design, we're also able to convey better what we're aiming for with the game, something that became clearer since last time.
Even though we didn't reach the funding goal with Kickstarter, it still did wonders with our exposure, and we're in a much better place with our visibility going into the new campaign.
Action Points!
Help out an indie developer create a game that publishers are reluctant to sign when they are looking for big revenues and Steam algorithms shun: a relatively small, narrative turn-based game with a cast of four feisty females!

We are happy to announce that we are soon starting a Kickstarter campaign for Ignis Universia: Awakening of the Erudite Empress!
What to expect of the game?
Ignis Universia is a mixture of the traditional JRPG form with an isometric 3D view and Visual Novel style dialogue with branching narrative.
During the dungeon adventure gameplay the player explores levels, talks to NPCs and solves puzzles with the help of the special powers each of the Sisters have, while the Visual Novel dialogue segments tie these together.
The battles are built on classic turn-based JRPG mechanics with new twists like Friendship summons and element-based turn order system.
We will have early bird discounts so follow our pre-campaign page and be one of the first ones to know when the campaign starts!

We are super happy to see that Ignis Universia has got so many positive reviews (Eleanna can barely contain herself!) - and many have also supported us by buying the DLC**! Wishlist and follow to stay up to date with more news coming soon!

Ignis Universia Discord page is also open! We are sharing news of the development there first and would love to hear your feedback!

Hey all!
We've been asked about localised versions for some languages, and we, unfortunately, can't offer official localisations at this point. But:
We added support for modifying the game's text files, which players translate the game if they want to. We also added a couple of font options, one for extended Latin characters (the current font we use only supports the very basic English ones) and a Japanese font.

(The translation in the image is courtesy of Google Translate, so please don't judge ^_^' )
There are a couple of limitations for now.
We'll post detailed instructions on how to access the needed files and edit them near release.

As you can see, Arto's Mac has seen better days, but it's still in good enough shape to churn out a build or two.
