- Settings: Button "Aim" can be changed.
- Settings: Button "Fire" can be changed.
- Settings: "Action" key is made by "Run" key + "Get Item" key. Useful for gamepad to save one button space. With Keyboard by default "Action" key is "Shift + E".
- Settings: Added new button key for "Gamepad Items". This button + Right Analog Stick.
- Settings: Added "Camera With Key" option. Used to rotate the camera with "Fire" key or not. By default is "No".
- Settings: Added "Image Effects" option. Requires DirectX 11. By default is "Yes".
- Settings: Added "Gamepad" option. This is partial controller support. You can't do everything with gamepad. In general this game uses keyboard and mouse. Use "No" for keyboard and "Yes" for gamepad. If correct option is not set here, during the game is possible to happen incorrected things like a inactive buttons or strange movements.
Gamepad Setup Guide
1. Go to Settings and set "No" for "Camera With Key".
2. Go to Settings and set "Yes" for "Gamepad".
3. Change every key you want with gamepad button. This is my proposal:

Gamepad Notes
1. Gamepad have special key in Settings for inventory items. Use this button + Right Analog Stick for slot 1 to 5 or Left Analog Stick for slot 6-10. Actually only Lisa character needs 6-10 slots.
- Right Analog Stick Up = Slot 1
- Right Analog Stick Left = Slot 2
- Right Analog Stick Down = Slot 3
- Right Analog Stick Right = Slot 4
- Right Analog Stick Button = Slot 5
- Left Analog Stick Up = Slot 6
- Left Analog Stick Left = Slot 7
- Left Analog Stick Down = Slot 8
- Left Analog Stick Right = Slot 9
- Left Analog Stick Button = Slot 10
2. I don't have Xbox 360 gamepad. I have PS3 original gamepad, but I can't figure out yet how to install it on Windows 10. So... I try one Hama (PS3 Type) gamepad and works fine. By default gamepad support is for PS3 type controllers. If you have Xbox 360 type or something else... probably Left/Right analog stick and D-Pad arrows will be messed. This is little tricky and the solution is:
- Open your Steam program and go to "Library".
- Click on Infection Rate "Play" button and hold "ALT" (keyboard) key at the same time for few seconds.
- Infection Rate Configuration window will open. Go to "Input" panel.
- You must change only what is wrong on your gamepad. In general this can be only Left/Right analog stick or D-Pad arrows. Change these controls if needed: Horizontal (they are 3), Vertical (they are 3), Mouse X, Mouse Y, JoystickAim.
--------------------------------------------
Horizontal - On the first, don't do anything
Vertical - On the first, don't do anything
Horizontal - This must be Left Analog Stick Left and Right
Vertical - This must be Left Analog Stick Up and Down
Horizontal - This must be D-Pad Left and Right
Vertical - This must be D-Pad Up and Down
Mouse X - This must be Right Analog Stick Left and Right
Mouse Y - This must be Right Analog Stick Up and Down
JoystickAim - This must be Right Analog Stick Up and Down (used only in player Aim mode)
--------------------------------------------
If this not work for you, feel free to change them as you wish.
If something goes wrong and you want default keys in Infection Rate Configuration window, go to: Windows - Start Menu - Run - Write "regedit". Registry Editor window will open. Find:
"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AL Games\Infection Rate" and delete all rows that include this "__Input". Example: "__Input Joystick Axis JoystickAim_h2186800149"
After this everything will be by default.
