One year ago we started with nothing but a dream: to create a VR game that is both fun and fulfills our childhood dream of being as powerful as our heroes on TV. Today, after months of hard work, sweat, tears (and an unhealthy amount of YumYum noodles), we are proud to release this very game into Early Access: Elemental Combat.
Thanks again to all of our numerous Alpha Testers, who gave incredibly useful and motivating feedback. This was exactly what we needed to push ourselves the last few steps and the game would not be the same without you. We hope you had as much fun as we had, while working together with us as we fixed bugs and implemented new community features.
The Early Access release is an important step for the game to mature. We are striving to make Elemental Combat a major competitive action game, which people love to play all around the world. One year ago we started with nothing but a dream: to create a VR game that is both fun and fulfills our childhood dream of being as powerful as our heroes on TV. Today, after months of hard work, sweat, tears (and an unhealthy amount of YumYum noodles), we are proud to release this very game into Early Access: Elemental Combat.

we are happy to announce that the Alpha Phase was a great success. We collected your awesome feedback and ideas. Be assured that we are working hard so you can see many more of your proposals inside the game.
The play time numbers and your positive feedback blew us away. We are confident to make Elemental Combat into the game we can all be proud of. Our goal is to make Elemental Combat THE VR fighting game out there.
Some words about you, the community, that has formed around Elemental Combat: you are amazing, smart and giving the game its special touch we are all looking for. Our community started little and is now growing constantly with VR veterans and VR newcomers joining us every day. We are proud to have you as our community.

we are happy to announce that the Alpha Phase was a great success. We collected your awesome feedback and ideas. Be assured that we are working hard so you can see many more of your proposals inside the game.

Elemental Masters! It is time for another Alpha Update!
You are showering us with great feedback, tips and ideas and we want to present to you the latest changes of Elemental Combat:
We (and many of you) thought, a rotating stone around the fist feels a bit weird. So we gave the Basic Attack Earth a new animation and look. Now you can punch your stony fist into your opponent's face! We have also improved the art and performance of the fire basic attack and the advanced technique and gave them the fiery look and feel they deserve.
We like destroying things. What feels more epic than crushing through a massive earth barrier? You tell us because you can do that now!
To give you a better feedback of how much damage you have dealt to a barrier and how much life it has left - we added a health bar to each elemental barrier. Furthermore, for all of you who have wondered how many basic attacks you have left - now you will see an indicator above the health bar, showing you how many shots of raw elemental force you have left.
We changed a lot of things on the graphical settings to improve the quality and performance. You should see better frame rates and a more beautiful look.
Our goal for Elemental Combat is to create a world that feels authentic and believable. This is why we are giving the A.I. opponents some character and in the future we will add story elements and names to them, too.

You are showering us with great feedback, tips and ideas and we want to present to you the latest changes of Elemental Combat:
We (and many of you) thought, a rotating stone around the fist feels a bit weird. So we gave the Basic Attack Earth a new animation and look. Now you can punch your stony fist into your opponent's face! We have also improved the art and performance of the fire basic attack and the advanced technique and gave them the fiery look and feel they deserve.

it is time for another Update of the Alpha Version. We received amazing constructive feedback from you and your voices have been heard! We polished the art and overhauled the ingame UI. We optimized the sound and added a new training area (great idea guys!).
To add, since our average playtime numbers are still by far the highest among competitive VR games (35 min) and we just released a new update, we would like to give you some more days of the free Alpha Phase to test it out for yourself!
Training Area
Up in the Wuling mountains, we found a hidden place, where you can train your newly learned skills in peace. Go all out, don’t hold back. Train as long as you want to.
Polished Art
We polished the arena maps and added some new elements to the fighting grounds. The construction of the monastery have been completed. Now you can for example destroy the tiles around you.
UI Update
To have your mind clear and the enemy always in sight, we added a new health bar and also added a visual feedback for the elements that you have chosen more directly in your field of view. Now you can fully focus on the fights.
Sound Update
Your trainer will speak now more loudly with you. Now you will be able to hear him even through the sounds of the elemental forces around you.

only a couple of days after the Alpha started, we wanted to already ship the first update! We listened to your feedback. With this update we fixed bugs and made some changes to make the life easier for content creators.
Also, we are blown away by your amazing feedback and the extend of your playtime - an crazy average of 35 minutes! This tops all major games by several magnitudes. You rock!
Here are the changes that we did in this first live update:
New Menu
We gave the menu a little more love and created an environment more fitting to our lore and setting.
Fullscreen Mode
We understand the pain of creating content for VR. To make life a bit easier, we made the spectator screen fullscreen for easier recording. We are excited to see what you create!
Bug Fixes
We fixed a critical bug that had the enemy not appearing (probably was too scared or something). Now all the enemies are appearing in the right order to challenge you. They also got a bit of training in the process...you have been warned!
We made some adjustments to sound to make it feel more natural.
