Hey all! Just released the demo for my latest project JUICE, a hand-drawn first-person slaughterer that throws you into an apocalyptic dual narrative between a ravenous Monster and it's victim. It's quite a departure from my other titles usual genres but I highly recommend giving it a try anyways as it's something I'm quite proud of and the beginning of a hopefully whole new level of execution in future titles.

Hey all! Announcing the FICTION #F3F collection of ambient games including Nightline, Carcavas, That Feeling Blue, æ, and Sands of Voltark. These five pieces, originally released between 2018 - 21, have been remastered, enhanced and now available on Steam :)
The collection features hours of music, dynamic 3D first person exploration and (mostly) peaceful open worlds. From infinite train rides to sun bleached deserts, there’s quite a lot to experience at leisure:)

Ode to a Moon is a first person thriller currently in development. As photo-journalist for a popular tabloid, you’re tasked with documenting a historic fall festival in a far away rural town during a centennial lunar eclipse. Camera in hand you set off to that romantic hamlet only to discover the macabre fallout of a town's descent into madness. It was inspired by real events and the belief that truth is stranger than fiction.
Myst meets Silent Hill while on a stroll trough Tarkovsky’s Zone.
A horror game without monsters or enacted violence. So no jumpscares in the traditional sense.
First Person exploration mechanics with point and click adventure elements.

This new update introduces 8 worlds to explore and was premiered in the Indie Megabooth's PAX East 2019 showcase!
At the moment it is only compatible with Oculus Headsets, the original SteamVR alpha is still available as a beta branch and can be re-enabled from the Properties Menu.
There's the retro Neon City, a beautiful Tron like CAD construct full of abstracted skyscrapers and doodle like forests. The bright Deconstructivist City, with towering shapes and labyrinthine alleys. The Desert Canyon, a wonderful oasis whose ancient ruins defy gravity. The Tropic Island, rendered in a cacophony of primary colors. And 4 Edge worlds that truly bend the senses.
Controls:
Use the left joystick to move around the worlds, left index trigger to sprint and right index finger to jump. The right joystick will hard rotate your view by 45 degrees. You can move forward in whichever direction that you are looking at in the physical world.
Keyboard Dev Menu:
The Developer access keys let you force load multiple different worlds as well as Quit the game. When loading a world it will randomly choose from a variety of possible starting locations.
Important:
Only compatible with Oculus Headsets at the moment.
Intended for a seated or standing experience.
For use with Oculus Touch Controllers.
This is still an alpha, as such there are a few bugs and discrepancies with the PC version.
If you run into any problems, bugs or want to actively participate in the development process please feel free to post in the VR discussion board!
To play the original experimental SteamVR compatible alpha, you can re-enable it from the game's Properties Beta Options, and is listed as "vive - SteamVR". The launcher option will not work so you have to manually access this VR edition: open the 0N0WVR.exe in the VR folder found inside your game's installation directory.

So it's been one year since the release of 0°N 0°W. Wooooo! It really feels like a thousand years ago since I clicked that green "release" button. I just wanted to thank you all for the love, support and comments, seriously nothing would've been possible without all of you :) I couldn't be happier :)
To celebrate the occasion the game has been on sale all this week to hopefully nudge the bajillion wishlisters out there to take the plunge and finally try out 0°N 0°W. I would seriously appreciate the support, showing the game at PAX East in a couple weeks and those things can be pricy haha.
So 0°N 0°W will be at PAX East this year in Boston, March 30-31, as part of the IndieMegabooth lineup!! This is very exciting news and I'm really looking forward to hopefully catching up with any of you that might be visiting. I'll be showing both the 2D and VR versions of 0°N 0°W during the fair so please stop by the IndieMegabooth and say hi :)
Link to the IndieMegabooth Announcement and details.
I've finally joined the 21st century and created a Discord group for all Colorfiction matters. You're welcome to join and invite you friends! I mostly leave it running all day while I work so feel free to say hi or have a discussion with other 0°N 0°W fans. If I don't reply right away it's because I'm forcing myself not to in order to finish some work :p haha. So please if you see me online but I didn't get back to you right away, don't take it personally, I'm probably squashing some bugs and will reply by 3 am lol.

Hey! I hope you're all having a fantastic start to the year :)
As my new year's gift to everyone I made a short free game about relaxing at sea. It's called becalm and is now available on Steam. Hopefully this peaceful experience will help us all start the year in an excellent mood :)
Becalm is a short 5 minute meditative experience where you drift in a sailboat through magical waters. This is a special boat, you won't have to steer, worry about logistics, capsizing or pirates. In this trip the goal is to relax and... becalm!

Hey there!
0°N 0°W is now universal!
This weekend I quietly pushed an update that many might have noticed that enabled support for OSX & Linux. So now everybody can play! I'm very curious as how performance is in these platforms, particularly OSX as I do not have access to a Mac (those things are costly lol), so any feedback is greatly appreciated :)
Following the philosophical principles of Linux I've decided to strip 0°N 0°W of DRM for that platform, and will probably do the same for the other versions on Steam soon ( a DRM free version for all OS's is already available now on Itch if you prefer).
IMPORTANT: This update might have also triggered a re-download of the entire game and a couple of problems installing on Windows according to some users (since I changed the depots structure). This should be sorted by now but again any feedback is appreciated so if you're running into any troubles please let me know via the community hub Bugs subforum and I'll get on it right away.
Now that 0°N 0°W is available for all platforms I'll be focusing on VR :)
Well that's all folks, thanks again for playing and a big hug/high five to y'all!

Added 3 new dimensions, can you find them?
Fixed Alt-Tab issue on multi-screen situations.
Fixed memory leaks on three dimensions.
Fixed bug where Intro movie in ultra widescreen was showing the skybox.
Fixed rare bug where gravity of a dimension would transfer to other dimensions.
Fixed inability to run/sprint in one dimension.
Fixed rare bug where player would fall into infinity on one dimension.
Added a timeout before a particular colorful cityscape dimension starts shifting everywhere to prevent player from getting stuck.
Increased distance view / field of vision on some dimensions.
Added even more exit doors to tunnel maze in (!7`/ |2(_)!|\\|3|).
Optimized AI on multiple dimensions to increase performance.
Countless other small fixes and performance improvements everywhere!
Standalone VR alpha dlc is no longer bundled with the game and is now optional!
Upcoming:
Adding more Features/Flora/Fauna to all dimensions.
More dimensions :)
The level selection menu is getting a visual/functional rehaul.
Hopefully full controller support and mouse invert/sensitivity control, this is proving more tricky than I thought.

You might have noticed a small patch today, well it added the very first VR beta of 0°N 0°W!
This beta release is a fully explorable build of the Neon World for you to get lost in! It is intended for a seated experience with keyboard and mouse or controller and should support all OpenVR headsets. You can most certainly stand up and do some roomscale wandering but just remember to return to your marked center point to continue exploring.
To access the beta navigate to the game's installation directory where you will notice a new folder named "VR", run the "0N0WVR.exe" located within to start the experience. Make sure you have all the dedicated hardware plugged in, recognized and SteamVR running properly before starting the application!
Notes:
This is the very first beta, as such there are a couple of differences between this world and the one found on the standard windows release. This will all be reconciled shortly.
There is no menu functionality yet as the menu system is currently being reworked to support VR. To quit the experience access the steam VR menu with your wand/controller and select exit or just press ctrl+alt+delete.
Doors and world's edge transitions are currently disabled, so please refrain from jumping into the void as you will endlessly fall :)
This is an ongoing development process so you might encounter multiple bugs! Please post about this in the dedicated Virtual Reality discussion group in the community hub. Any feedback is greatly appreciated and welcome :)
Steam did not review the VR DLC in time for today's release so this will be the only time that the VR is included with the standalone edition, future patches and development will be part of the optional DLC.
The Soundtrack is now available as a free DLC!
It is a nice collection of songs from this surreal exploration adventure totalling at 19 tracks with a runtime length of almost 3 hours! Some careful selecting had to be done as the full ensemble is over 7 hours of continous audio so if there is a particular soundscape you would like to see included do not hesitate to ask for it in the community hub :)
Well that is all for today, enjoy the interdimensional wanderings in VR and hope the soundtrack improves your daily activities! All the best, - Colorfiction

Hello fellow Dimensional Travelers! Have a couple of big announcements to make today:
First of which; 0°N 0°W will be exhibited at PAX East in Boston this upcoming April 5 – 8! So if you’re in Boston that week/end come say hi and stop by booth n# 11010, it’s right next to the PAX store and all the AAA booths at the far end. Not only will you be able to play the game if you haven’t already but there will be a live demo of the upcoming VR edition, and now that I mention that the next announcement is...
0°N 0°W will support VR! After giving it much thought I’ve decided that rather than have you all wait for an elusive ‘When it’s done’ release date, the 0°N 0°W VR edition will be developed in an open ‘Early Access’ format, giving you all a chance to jump into this otherworldly reality as soon as possible! Best news of this is that it’ll be a free DLC! Yes that’s right if you’ve already purchased 0°N 0°W all you have to do to participate in the VR beta is download the upcoming DLC, which will be available on April 20th.
That’s a short gif of some friends enjoying the upcoming DLC which will start off with a fully explorable VR edition of the Neon City. So you might ask why a DLC and not part of the game? Well VR involves changing a lot of the game’s architecture and shader format so it requires a complete rework of everything. Since it’s going to take time and will be developed in an ongoing manner there will be a lot of updates, the DLC format saves those that are not interested in VR capabilities from receiving this barrage of patches. So if you’re interested in VR download the DLC, if you’re not then don’t and save some bandwidth. Did I mention it’s free already? I did didn't I? but hey it’s Free! As in Air! Lol.
Today’s last announcement is that 0°N 0°W’s soundtrack will be available as a free DLC on April 20th as well! It’ll feature a large selection of the songs in the game in their full length and best of all lossless Flacs (Mp3 will be included). So again this will be an optional download so as to save bandwidth and HD space from those not interested in the lush soundscapes from 0°N 0°W.
Well hope you’re all having a blast exploring and enjoy the weekend!

Update 1.2, Changes and Fixes:
Updated the Movement System: The walking inertia/lag/delay after key-press is fixed! Now you can approach things slowly or platform precisely without fear of sliding onwards (It's even more noticeable on controllers).
Level Selection Menu is now accessible from the Main Menu. To do so click on the box full of tapes under the center table (the one with the 'Story Book').
Added 2 ferns to the Main Menu and other miscellaneous embellishments. More importantly the Exit Game Door is now marked with an exit sign.
Fixed cursor missing on Main Menu after rare instances of reloading .
Removed cursor from intro splash screens.
Changed Photo capture default key from 'P' to 'F12' to match the Steam Overlay screenshot function. This can always be changed to your preference on the startup dialog screen. Local copies of your photos are saved in your game's install directory as .png files '0°N 0°W/0N0W_Data/Photos/'. Currently missing update to splash screen diagram to illustrate this recent change, will update this in next patch.
Fixed even more misbehaving doors.
Also........ Big Announcement about VR capabilities this coming week! Stay tuned ;)
