Please report any regressions. If this update breaks something and you need to revert, you can right click on the game, "Properties...", and in Betas tab select "old_version" as a beta.
Minor behavior changes: clicking outside the menu no longer unpauses the game, you need to press [esc] or click "Play game".
Known minor regressions: horizontal scroll bar in Scores panel may show incorrect position in the scroll bar even though the window scrolls correctly.

Windows: support for any audio format via DirectShow codecs; simply install system wide codecs in the usual way to play any format. Some types of internet streaming audio might also work now depending to the system configuration (OS X version already supports pretty much any format through system codecs)
Key bindings for next and previous song and song restart work correctly now
File chooser directories are remembered independently for different file chooser dialogs
Removed "Merry Christmas" from tutorial level (the Christmas tree remains in the Christmas level)
Moved Christmas themed music down in the default playlist

Massive improvements to the music analyzer, now visualizes even better for larger variety of music types.
New music customization option: use a slider to choose between animation to the beat or animation to the melody (and voice), or any mix of beat and melody. As with any other parameters, the effects are immediately visible, letting you tune it just right for your taste.
Configurable controller binding
set up your game controller's sticks and buttons and sliders just the way you like, in Controls panel.
Enemy flight improved, better flight and attack patterns.
Enemies collide and bounce off each other.

Controller fixes (can set controller speed now with same slider as for mouse, and controller also works when in traditional shooter mode).
