Staff Wars: Wizard Rumble patch notes focusing on bug fixes from the latest free content update, Staff Wars: Summer Rumble.
Changes:

Improved AI path-finding
Improved homing rocket lock-on and flight path
Better replication of items over online
Lighting passes between players faster
Ice breaks if pulled onto a tile with a player
Added new shadows for items falling onto the stage
Updated user interface to work better with gamepad
Increased load time buffer in online games
Online lobbies now show max players
Fixes:

AI no longer tries to walk through Ice walls
AI knows about objects falling onto stage
Ice walls stick to tiles
Hook will not pass through wall if attached to a player
Chaos mode now replicates to all clients
Chaos mode loads properly on all clients
Tile modifiers will spawn properly on clients
Fixed bugs with Match settings menu
Online lobbies now count AI players towards total players
Fixed credits
Fixed crash using homing rockets
Fixed tutorial notes not disappearing properly
Fixed map selection bugs
Fixed clients failing to load maps between rounds
Performance:

Improvements while tile modifiers are active
FPS improvements while in menus

Greetings and salutations fellow wizards!
We are proud to announce that the new Staff Wars: Wizard Rumble update, much like the summer heat, has finally arrived!
Firstly, we have re-worked several mechanics:

The old modifier system was overly complex and clunky, we have changed this to now use presets, a bunch of pre-made gamemodes that players can easily and quickly switch between. (Though the old system is still there too for players who enjoy being in control!)
Updated settings menu to add volume controls.
The AI have new difficulties, ranging from easy to hard.
And now for the new features:

Chaos mode, a new way to play where the rules change each round.
AI have been added to online play, allowing you to fill out the matches without needing to wait for more players.
A brand new item, the Lightning cloud. Pick this up and be marked by a cloud that explodes after a few seconds that you can pass to other players by touching them .
Item modifiers. Adding an item modifier will change the way that item works, adding even more variety and ways to play.
We now also have a discord for all things Staff Wars: https://discord.gg/MUKrXEQ. Feel free to join and chat with the devs, report bugs, find new friends or just hang out!

A mystical substance has covered the land - our battlegrounds have been absolutely filled with snow! And for some bizarre reason, the rest of the Wizards have gone jolly with merriment!

Play on the exciting new Winter themed tile set, with falling snow, upturned sleighs, and magical gifts!
Spice up your games with the brand new Tile Modifiers!
These modifiers are applied randomly to all tiles at the start of the level:
Iron Tile - This tile can take a beating, with double the health of regular tiles!
Frozen Tile - This slippery surface will send your wizard sprawling to the void!
Explosive Tome - Read at your own peril: These page turners have volatile properties!
Get festive with the Winter Snowman and Friendly Rednose hats - free for all wizards to wear as they please!
Even change up your wizard robes with 3 brand new patterns!
But wait, what's this?
Promised long ago and now finally avaliable to the public, we are pleased to announce that Staff Wars: Wizard Rumble now comes with singleplayer support!
On starting a local match, players have the option of adding AI players. Be warned though, these tricky little magi are not to be underestimated.
There's fun for everyone! So step onto the snowy fields and blow your friends up in the brand new Staff Wars: Winter Rumble update!

Almost two months since Staff Wars: Wizard Rumble's original launch we are proud and very excited to announce that we are on the brink of a whole new magical breakthrough!
New features...
Over the past few months we’ve been hard at work implementing the changes that the community have been craving most, and if the title hasn't given it away yet, we are super excited to announce that a singleplayer mode will be part of our upcoming update!
But that's not all my wizardly friends, for we have even more in store for you. In the next update you can also expect:

New tile types, new ways to play!
Updated, more streamlined UI
A new map style
Even more customization options
Surely just a harmless tome...?
But when!?
Hold on to your floppy hats and sit tight, this update is still some time away. Though you can expect more progress updates here and on our other various social media as the release date approaches.
