Version 2.1.2 is here with some fixes for a few bugs. Most of these are fixed thanks to reports sent in by you, our players.
This new version is not compatible for network play with previous versions due to the nature of a couple of these fixes.
Bugs fixed in version 2.1.2:
Gameplay no longer gets stuck when taking an advantage that adds its fate cost as damage/clues to a target when that target is no longer on the board. For example, Marcone's New Deal in Battle Ground no longer causes the game to get stuck when Steal the Eye of Balor has already been solved.
Corrected the fate calculations on cards with Fate rolls when both Molly Carpenter and River Shoulders use their talents to adjust the cost.
The "Try Again" button on the defeat screen in multiplayer network games should now work correctly when the game's host uses it before all the other players have disconnected.
Spectacled Sasquatch no longer occasionally causes the game to stop advancing. This was primarily seen in multiplayer, with the players other than River Shoulders getting stuck.
Corrected the error in the text of the "Marcone's New Deal" card. The card had an extra "the" in the card text.
The controller disconnected dialog now dismisses properly after reconnecting controllers if it comes up during a turn change in the tutorial.
Release notes for version 2.1.1 Gameplay bugs fixed in this version include: River Shoulders' "Spectacled Sasquatch" talent no longer causes the game to get stuck when the prompt is declined. The "Winter's Banner" card in Battle Ground no longer causes the game to get stuck when
Release notes for version 2.1.1
Gameplay bugs fixed in this version include:
River Shoulders' "Spectacled Sasquatch" talent no longer causes the game to get stuck when the prompt is declined.
The "Winter's Banner" card in Battle Ground no longer causes the game to get stuck when the current player / Harry have either 0 or 1 cards in their hand.
The "German Warlocks" card in Side Jobs no longer causes the game to get stuck if the players have fewer than a combined total of 3 cards in their hands.
The "Ethniu's Will" card in Battle Ground no longer causes the game to get stuck if it triggers an accidental showdown.
Other fixes and improvements:
DualSense controllers now display the correct controller buttons.
LAN discovery on the Steam Deck works much better and no longer occasionally locks up the app on exiting the screen / game.
Improved navigation with game controllers, especially in the options screens. The Hidden Achievement account login is now a pop-up dialog instead of integrated into the Network screen so it doesn't steal controller navigation input on the screen.
The backspace key no longer closes the bug reporting dialog.
Several text fields that were set to a maximum size of 0 now have a sane maximum. Other platforms treated 0 as unlimited, while the Steam virtual keyboard interprets 0 as 0 and was preventing input in those fields.
The Faithful Friends expansion to the Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game is now available. The most anticipated additions in this new expansion are the book decks for Harry's most recent case files: Peace Talks and Battle Ground. In addition to the usual cases, foes, obstacles,
The Faithful Friends expansion to the Dresden Files Cooperative Card Game is now available. The most anticipated additions in this new expansion are the book decks for Harry's most recent case files: Peace Talks and Battle Ground. In addition to the usual cases, foes, obstacles, and advantages in the previous decks, these new decks come with new game mechanics in the form of Crisis and Key cards. Crisis cards are both foes to defeat and cases to solve, while Key cards act as both obstacles and advantages. To help with the new challenges Harry will have to face, River Shoulders joins the existing companions in the form of a new character deck, while Waldo Butters gets an upgrade in a new variant deck as Sir Waldo.
The Spectacled Sasquatch
River Shoulders, the spectacled sasquatch joins as a new companion, bringing the strength of the river combined with shamanic training to Harry’s side.
… There Is No Try
Everybody’s favorite medical examiner Waldo Butters has taken up the sword to join the fight in this new variant deck.

Update 2.0.7 contains a few minor fixes and improvements. As always, we appreciate the bug reports you send in that help us track down any issues you run into while playing.
The fixes in this update, In no particular order:
Fix several instances where a player might be prompted to pick a player to discard, pick a card to discard, or pick a player to draw cards during the showdown.
Remove the WASD, Q, and E keys from keyboard navigation. They were unnecessary and this was causing problems with some text input fields. You can still navigate using arrow keys.
Change the hotkey for opening the menu to Menu key instead of the backquote key.
Fixed the handling of 'Shift Left' and 'Shift Right' to also support 'Previous Field' and 'Next Field' controls, so tab/shift-tab can move through fields properly.
Fixed a crash that was occurring when using game controller bumper buttons on the Showdown screen.
Made slight adjustments to button sprite offsets for controllers so they are more consistent across different types of controllers..
The card selection indicator should now be properly hidden in the moments after a card is played.
Using Winter Lady Molly's "Power of the Lady" talent to modify the die roll on one of Susan Rodriguez's infected card rolls will no longer lock up the game.
Thickened up the outline on left/right text toggles.
If "Alphas to the Rescue" defeats a foe when another foe is in the next column, the next foe will now correctly also receive hits.
Removed the 'onward' button when from the game type selection screen. It was unnecessary and confusing.
There is now an optional "Utility" button on the character selection dialog, which can be used to preview discards, or other (known) information. Implemented this for Ra's Imbued Fire when selecting a character to draw from discards and other cards that draw from discards.
Don't let the player resign while showing the setup sequence. This should prevent some issues with getting stuck in pre-game planning that sometimes occurs after a redeal in solitaire games.
The focus indicator when using controllers or keyboard navigation is now blingy and beautiful, and a lot more visible.
"Try Again" after a defeat now works correctly when playing with more than two players in a hotseat game.
Version 2.0.6 is here. This update includes a number of bug fixes and some minor UI improvements. A player can only draw cards if their draw pile isn't empty. Discards are no longer reshuffled into the draw pile. When drawing cards, only draw as many as are available in the draw

When prompting to pick a character to draw cards, filter out characters with no cards in their draw pile.
Defeat screen: fix bug with try again button not triggering.
The 'bug report' and 'dice test' option descriptions are no longer swapped.
The control to toggle the "don't show this again" option on the book synopsis now also works to turn the toggle off as well as on.
Dragging cards when viewing zoomed cards now shows the card being dragged when the table is set to use low-detail cards.
Bugfix: viewing the next or previous zoomed card when the table is set to use low-detail cards now works correctly.
Numerous fixes to when the current selection indicator is displayed.
Fullscreen resolution options can now be selected with mouse clicks.
Achievement and dice roll stats are included in bug reports.
Consult with Vaderrung now works correctly with game controllers.
Mouse's Foo Dog can only be used if at least one player can discard and at least one player can draw cards.
Mouse's Foo Dog will now only allow selecting players to draw cards that actually have cards in their draw pile.
Timely Assist only allows selecting characters who have cards remaining in their draw pile.
Timely Assist can only be played if someone has cards in their draw pile.
The character selection dialog can no longer be canceled with esc/gamepad in instances where selection is required.
Moving to the next/previous section in the options with a keyboard now uses Q/E instead of TAB/Shift-TAB as hotkeys, so it doesn't conflict with advancing to the next field.
Added an indicator on the table for the number cards in each player's draw pile.
Type-in boxes in Options should now have more robust cross-platform UX.
Join/Host online games show the correct remote player selections when first starting up.
In a 2-player networked game, the guest players also see their hand cards during pre-game planning.
Fixed the layout for the Book Synopsis Dialog on narrow screens.
In a 2-player network game, the card that was just played/discarded for fate is removed from the table correctly at the time of play instead of waiting to update until that player's next turn.
When using low-detail cards on the table, cards now zoom in and out using the correct sorting order.
The selection indicator should no longer show up when viewing defeated foes / solved cases and not using a game controller.
Updated the character selection dialog so it doesn't look like characters are selected when they aren't.
Join Private Game and LAN Games screens should now have tab navigation of fields.
Fixed a typo in the name for selecting French language. It now reads Français instead of "Françias"
Improved the responsiveness when entering the direct connect server address.
In version 2.0.3 we've added some frequently requested features from our backlog to go with the regular fixes. Version 2.0.3 is generally compatible for network play with all the version 2.0 updates. At the start of games, you can now read the cover synopsis from the book. After
In version 2.0.3 we've added some frequently requested features from our backlog to go with the regular fixes. Version 2.0.3 is generally compatible for network play with all the version 2.0 updates.
At the start of games, you can now read the cover synopsis from the book.
After being defeated during a game, a Try Again button is available to replay the scenario with the same character and book selections. Network multiplayer games don't automatically reconnect players with this feature (yet).
We added a new alternative RNG option in the settings for solitaire / hotseat games for those who feel like the current RNG is being unfair. This is not yet available in network games.
During game setup, the book deck selection has a quick summary of the cards in the book similar to character selection.
When you zoom in to get a closer view of cards in your hand or on the table, the entire hand or row of cards will zoom in, allowing you to quickly browse through them at higher detail.
Bugs fixed and smaller changes in this update:
The button to view the log on the victory and defeat screens works once again.
Turned off the selection indicator for game controller in a number of places when a gamepad isn't in use.
The missing final step in the tutorial was added back in so it no longer feels like it ends abruptly.
Susan's Infected variant is no longer incorrectly modified by Running on Fumes in Side Jobs.
The pre-game planning state should be less prone to getting stuck when Harry's player starts the game while the other players are examining the board. Other players now have to explicitly press the start button after Harry does to advance to the game.
The dialogs when a player disconnects from multiplayer has a new style matching the rest of the UI.
The table of contents in the Manual works a little better.
Game controllers work better when trying to find Steam games.
"The Ways" in Side Jobs now works properly when using a game controller.
Some options now have extended descriptions to explain what they do - mostly this is for explaining game difficulty options.
Obstacles that are highlighted because they might affect a card being played are no longer able to be selected as the target of that play if they are out of range.
Ambient background audio correctly uses the ambient volume setting when a new track starts.
Added a new confirmation before starting solitaire / hotseat games to help prevent accidentally move to the game stage before finishing character selection.
Luccio's Pyromantic Precision and Strategy cards can now be discarded correctly when using a game controller.
Resigning a game after meeting the victory conditions are tracked as a victory instead of as a loss.
When a game starts, the Showdown card for the book is now displayed to make it more apparent that the Showdown rules are different for each book.

• Fixed an issue with reporting bugs while in the tutorial. • Cascade effects that remove cards that are targets of the current action no longer cause the game to get stuck. • A version of the debug dice roller is available in the options under "Other" • Fixed the animation speed slider to never go all the way to 0, so cards still animate. This prevents them from occasionally getting stuck. • Pre-turn effects are no longer run when restarting a player's turn after they cancel stunt use. Prevents Soul Train from advancing if Winter Knight Harry cancels his stunt. • Mouse's shop page is fixed to show Harry/Susan's extra cards instead of saying Molly/Harry. • The game no longer gets stuck when prompting a player to move cards while there are no available cards to move. • Damage from a couple of cards that affect adjacent targets is now correctly applied as if the additional targets are primary targets and not side effects. • Targets that cannot be affected by the current action are no longer included in prompts to remove cards.

We just released version 1.2.1 build to address a few issues that came up since we released 1.2.0. We wanted to get this out quickly, since a couple of the bugs affected multiplayer game setup.
Details:
Setting up games with 3+ players using Steam networking should now work correctly. It was trying to access the double character slot for one of the players.
We fixed the bug that caused the game to not recognize any DLC because we hadn't set the Winter Schemes expansion as "Coming Soon" yet, so it won't happen for any possible future expansions. (And no, there aren't more any currently under development for the digital version of the game at the moment beyond Winter Schemes)
Using Molly or Mouse's stunt in multiplayer over Steam networking should now work correctly. The game wasn't decoding that message correctly.
Fixed a bug that would cause the client that started a game in online play mode to sometimes disconnect when the game was started.
Kincaid's Isolate & Eliminate card can no longer be used when there aren't both a valid target and a valid Foe to swap with on the table
Solitaire game setup now remembers that you selected a random book instead of getting set to the book that was randomly selected.
Version 1.2.0 is now available. The major change in this update is the addition of Expansion 4: Dead Ends . Full release notes: Expansion 4: Dead Ends, including decks for Jared Kincaid, Mortimer Lindquist, Changes, and Ghost Story. An entirely updated Online network mode, which

Full release notes:
Expansion 4: Dead Ends, including decks for Jared Kincaid, Mortimer Lindquist, Changes, and Ghost Story.
An entirely updated Online network mode, which uses a common server instead of requiring a direct connection between guests and the host device. This mode is intended to eliminate a number of problems with playing multiplayer over a network.
The character selection interface is improved, and now works like the book selection interface.
Multiplayer game setup screens are cleaner, and now show the book and game settings.
A new "news" system now displays news on the start menu screen.
An icon will now show up on the start screen when your Hidden Achievement account login times out.
Game log now includes additional actions, including logging when a player passes their turn.
Zooming the table talent card will show the correct side of the card when one of the Carpenters has activated their talent.
Restoring the game now works properly in some cases where it wasn't before.
When Molly Carpenter is prompted to modify a roll, the interface now shows the card with the roll being modified.
Molly Carpenter can now modify Susan's "Infected" variant card rolls when they're teamed up in a 2-player game.
The Tutorial no longer gets stuck after taking the "Beer at Mac's" advantage when the "Extra Card" option has been enabled for solitaire play.
A number of cases where the game would get stuck when causing another player to discard have been fixed.
The fate cost of a card that is discarded due to a failed range roll now includes any obstacles that modify the cost.
Some more splash messages can be dismissed with a tap/click.
Audio should loop properly now when a track ends.
