Patch 1.1 has come, and now you can check the new system to expand your builds: the Orbs of Transformation!
These mystical tools were designed to add another layer of item customization and give you more freedom to experiment with different paths for your gear. The inspiration came from mechanics in games like Path of Exile and World of Warcraft, where items could gain unique and unpredictable twists. We wanted to bring that same sense of discovery to Relic Hunters Legend, but in a way that fits our game.
Binding Orb

Bound by mechanical rings, this Orb lets you lock one Affix (and on Tier 4 items, sometimes a second one). Once locked, that Affix won’t change when using other Orbs, perfect for protecting a roll you really want to keep.
Paradox Orb

Reality fractures with unpredictable results! Using this Orb can lead to unexpected outcomes, sometimes even a Super Affix. However, there’s a catch: the item becomes Unstable, which means it can’t be modified further unless you use a Harmony Orb.
🔒 Important: The Paradox Orb never destroys or breaks your item; it’s all about embracing the risk of unpredictable power.
Harmony Orb

A calming sphere of emerald light, the Harmony Orb restores stability to an item. It will remove Paradox Affixes and bring back any Disabled Affixes, making the item safe to modify again.
🔍 How to Obtain Them?
Drop in the World
Orbs can be found naturally as you play. For example, the Paradox Orb is a reward from the final level of ADN.
Justin’s Material Exchange Shop:
Basic Orbs can be purchased with T4 Materials and Memories.
Advanced Orbs can be purchased with basic Orbs (like Shifting Orbs).
All this info will also be detailed in the Compendium for easy reference!

We’re excited to share a sneak peek at Patch 1.1, coming later this September!
We already finished the Dark Mode, and it’s now fully implemented across all screens! Your eyes can finally rest easy while you’re blasting through missions, tinkering with builds, or exploring the galaxy.
But that’s not all! Patch 1.1 also brings 3 new Orbs of Transformation and updates to the Justin Material Exchange Shop, giving you more ways to get rarer Materials and advanced Orbs.
New Orbs 🪐
Binding Orb
Bound by mechanical rings, its power seals what it touches against alteration.
Applying this Orb on an item will lock one Affix, with a small chance of selecting a second Affix on Tier 4 Items.
A Locked Affix will not be changed when using other Orbs. Use this to Lock in a Super Affix or an Affix that you really want to keep.
Paradox Orb

Purple arcs dance across fractured planes, bending reality into unpredictable outcomes. Applying this Orb on an item will have unexpected consequences. Some of them might even be positive.
Warning: the item will become Unstable and will no longer accept any modifications from the Item Workshop or from other Orbs, with the exception of the Harmony Orb, which removes the Unstable state.
Harmony Orb

A sphere of calming emerald-like light, weaving broken matter back into wholeness. Using this Orb on an Unstable item will remove any Paradox Affixes and restore any Disabled Affixes. The item will no longer be Unstable.
Justin Material Exchange Shop changes 💱
Purchase Orbs with T4 Materials and Memories.
Convert High-end Materials for other ones (i.e: convert 50x Set Emblems for 25x Augmentation Modules).
Trade in a bunch of Shifting Orbs for any other Orb.
Patch 1.1 is offering new tools to take your builds even further. We can’t wait to see the new strategies you’ll bring to the galaxy.

It’s finally time to dim the lights, on purpose this time! We’re rolling out the first test version of Dark Mode in Relic Hunters Legend, and we can’t wait to hear what you think.
Dark Mode has been one of the most requested features from our community, and this is just the beginning. Since it’s still in testing, not all screens have been fully switched over yet, but we wanted to give you an early look so you can share your feedback, ideas, and suggestions. Your input will help us polish and perfect this feature for the full release.
We know some of you love playing late at night, and now your eyes can rest easy while you’re hunting relics across the galaxy. After all, it’s not just about saving the universe, it’s about saving your retinas, too. 🌙👀

To activate Dark Mode:
Just go to Options → Graphics → toggle Dark Mode on.
While we were busy flipping the light switch, we also tackled a pesky bug:
Stored items equipped on other Hunters will no longer be sent back to the Backpack when leaving a Mission.
Xbox Save Issue
We also want to keep you updated on a save file bug currently affecting only Xbox players, as some of you may have the game here and on the console.
Right now, there’s an issue causing the game to create save files much larger than they should be on Xbox. If your save file grows beyond 200MB, the Xbox system may fail to sync it to the cloud, which could result in loss of progress.
So if you have the game on this platform as well, we recommend:
If you play on Xbox: Please keep an eye on your save file size. If it grows too large (200MB), stop playing the game, as your progress may not carry over.
Even if you try to play in Offline Mode (on the console, not only in-game), your save file may continue to grow. Once the console is put back online, the Xbox will try to sync it again, and this can corrupt your save.
Additionally: If your save grows too large, you may also become unable to enter matches, even while playing offline, receiving the error message: “Failed to connect to the backend server.” This issue is also tied to the same save bug.
We already have a fix in development and will let you know as soon as it’s live on Xbox.

Hey Hunters, Quick hotfix after a couple of days of the 1.0 launch. The game is looking very stable across the board, both in multiplayer and single-player. The main concern at the moment seems to be the brightness of the menus, so we are working on a solution and hope to have more information for you today. The hotfix changes are as follows:
Stats Screen was causing massive framerate spikes.
Ace's Flurry Skill Node Buff now appropriately buffs Critical Damage (it was actually reducing the stat).
Raff's Wrench and Keytar Blast damage displayed on tooltip updated.
Paradoxal Heart's Affix has been translated to all languages.
Contagion explanation given by DeathanatorX has been updated on all languages.
Duducan Ducannon name has been translated to all languages.
Fixed issue on Memory Tooltip that would fail to properly display the active Hunter's name in Chinese.
Demo progress will now properly be transferred to full game version (this broke on the last demo published). This will either happen automatically or will display a message for the player to let them know they can transfer the progress via the Support menu.

🐞 Bug Fixes
Early Access exclusive badge should no longer disappear from time to time.
Distraction Missions affected by Challenges should now properly end before the timer runs out once all enemies are defeated.
Kami Freak's Loot Table has been fixed and it will now drop Thorns as expected.
Potion overtime healing effect no longer accumulates duration upon successive uses.
Fixed bug that would cause characters to keep flipping directions while preparing a Charge Skill and aiming too close to their feet.
🛠️ Improvements
Mouse Scroll Wheel can now be used to swap between weapons.
Mouse Scroll Wheel Up/Down can both be rebinded to other Actions.
Added a new Option to toggle Version Number visibility.
Toggle Story Auto Advance Option has been moved to become part of the Story Auto Advance Speed Option.
⚙️ Tweaks and Changes
Ace's Finisher Skill Node now grants +(3 to 24)% Added Fire Damage during Donkey From Above and Rocketeer.
Increased Hot Trigger Fire Damage per stack from 3 to 4%.
Increased Firestarter's Fire Damage buff from 60 to 80%, decreases non-fire damage by 40% (was 30%).
Contagion now reduces affected target's Resistances by 30%.
Fire and Frag Condition Damage Scaling increased from 10% to 25% of Base damage.
Toxic Friend reduces enemy resistances by 70% (was 75%).
SMG Weapon Type Base Damage increased from 15 to 16.
Hot Trigger Base Damage increased to 23.

Introducing the Compendium
Ever wondered how close you are to truly completing Relic Hunters Legend? It's now possible to check for information on how to collect legendary/unique gear and weapons, Materials and Relics.
Everything you find and collect gets logged into your Compendium, giving you a clear view of what you’ve discovered and what’s still out there.
It’s a dream come true for completionists, collectors, and theorycrafters alike!
New Feature: Relic Piece Recycling
Got duplicate relic pieces cluttering your inventory? Now you can recycle them into Timeless Essence!

To do this, you’ll need to have the full relic already crafted. From there, any additional pieces can be converted into a valuable resource for future crafting.
New Item: Igniting Galaxy Shake
A new item enters the game: the Igniting Galaxy Shake!
Inflicting Burn has an increasing chance per Burn stack to consume them, stunning the enemy for 3 seconds and dealing Fire Damage proportional to the amount of stacks consumed.
UI & Gameplay Improvements

We’re also introducing some quality-of-life and usability upgrades:
New Login Window – Now sleeker and smoother.
Credits Screen
Chat Gamepad Navigation – Navigate chat more easily with your controller.
Mission Tooltips – You’ll now see which rewards are exclusive to a specific mission.
Steam Deck Enhancements
The Steam Deck Virtual Keyboard will now automatically activate when entering a Party Code.
Several UI elements have had their scaling tweaked to improve readability.
Some performance improvements should make it smoother to play on Steam Deck.
Additional Changes and Improvements
Patch 0.15 also includes bug fixes, performance tweaks, and improvements to keep your gameplay smooth and your loot hunting satisfying.
Reduced cost for modding and upgrading rarity of items, value now caps on 5 operations instead of 10.
Added back almost ready games fund logo.
Added the ability to preview ADN rewards.
Swapped Rubber Band placeholder icon.
Moved our Signature Wall to the initial Splash Screen and added new signatures.
Recycling treasure maps now correctly refreshes the amount of cartographers shards shown
No longer displaying your Save Slot name when playing Online, instead your Platform's Display Name will be shown to other players.
Kami Freak is back to the Academy Arena Epic Mission.
Changing font of player card RR display to improve readability on light-colored banners.
Increasing Gear Score Rank will no longer swap Outfits automatically.
Added a new UI that highlights the best loot recently collected.
Setting up UI Scaling for many UI elements to have them scale more appropriately to the Gamepad Interface Scale Option.
Relic Blueprints that were lost for some reason will reappear on your inventory once you log in back to the game.
Treasure Maps
Legendary Treasure Chests will now drop more shards and keys.
Increased the odds of getting new legendary maps when defeating champions on legendary maps.

BUG
Fixed bug that would cause players using OS set to Turkish to not be able to play the game.
Consuming memories on relics are now correctly refreshing memory tooltip.
Fixed not being able to confirm nickname with gamepad.
Fixed bug where "equippable by" footer would no longer appear after hovering an item on Transfer tab.
Treasure Chest Unlock window no longer blocks people from using portals or from leaving game.
Fixed popup on Relics screen, it was displaying Storage related info instead.
Fixing rebinding screen being misconfigured when first opening it.
Scoreboard tooltip now correctly displays player's platform icon.
Raff's To The Beat now correctly applies Damage Reduction and Skill Recovery stat modifiers.
Updated Frozen Statue's blueprint localization text.

At the beginning of this year, we announced our plans to release Relic Hunters Legend simultaneously on PC and Xbox, aiming for a Q2 2025 launch. However, we’ve recently encountered some unexpected and serious challenges with the porting process to Xbox. As a small indie team with limited resources, ensuring the same level of quality and excellence across all platforms is a top priority for us.

After careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to delay the 1.0 launch to Q3 2025. This wasn’t easy—but we believe it’s the right choice to give the game the second chance it deserves and allow more players to discover this heartfelt adventure about time travel, friendship, and reclaiming lost memories.
The game’s final content is already complete. What we need now is just a little more time to polish the experience on Xbox and make sure everything runs as smoothly as it should. We want every player—regardless of platform—to have the best possible experience on Day One.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support of our community throughout this journey. 0.14.1 Patch Notes
We’re continuously improving the Relic Hunters Legend experience, and while we prepare for launch, we’ve just released a new patch with exciting updates for you to enjoy — all thanks to the valuable reports and suggestions from our amazing community on Discord and Steam.

General Improvements and Fixes

Nanocloak has been redesigned to increase Dodge Chance by 100% (goes above cap) for 5 seconds when using an Utility Skill. Firing weapons or using Skills will cancel the effect immediately.
Tower Bells has been redesigned to remove Stun and Freeze effects from the player, while causing the same effect to enemies nearby. Can only happen once at every 20 seconds.
Ultimate Skills can now be cancelled by pressing the same button that activates it once the Intro has ended.
Fixed bug that would cause permanent Freeze and Stun when duration was next to 0.
Fixed Multiple Special Missions sometimes occupying the same Mission.
Fixed Special Missions completion not being tracked.
Seven's Frogsuit Hair has now been fixed and properly looks like the icon suggests.
Fixed some UI terms that had no localization (such as the DODGE text when you dodge stuff).
Party Short Code

Parties now have a short code that allows others to join by inputting them into the Social Window. This will be extremely useful for cross-platform Parties!
You'll now see a Steam icon with your display name.
Ace Tweaks

Increased radius of the damage (and combo priming effect) caused by Ace's Jetpack Skill, and added a new visual effect.
Ace's Hot Sauce Skill Node now also causes the Holo-Sandwich to trigger its explosion immediately when Ace is close enough.
Panzer Tweaks

We've made a few changes to Panzer to improve her survivability. Here are the changes:
Intimidating Presence Blue Skill Node has been designed to grant Overshields when hitting enemies with Can't Catch Me.
Pointy Teeth Blue Skill Node no longer requires Overshields in order to Stun enemies. Stun chance has also been increased and can now reach 100%.
Pressure Point Blue Skill Node has been redesigned, it now causes Bite to inflict extra Fire Damage on enemies affected by Burn.

What's New in the ADN Rework?
🔄 Shorter Cycles
Tired of waiting a full week for the next ADN cycle? We've shortened the reset time from 7 days to just 3 days, giving you more frequent opportunities to farm, progress, and get more rewards!
⚔️ Difficulty Revamp

Regular ADN: Redesigned to become more accessible and rewarding. Enemy levels now range from 35–45, ensuring a smoother difficulty curve for all players.
Greater ADN: This high-level challenge has been redesigned to be soloable and extra challenging.
🎯 More Missions, More Rewards!

12 Missions Added: We’ve expanded the ADN mission pool to keep things fresh while retiring older, less engaging missions.
Greater ADN as the True Pinnacle Activity: Expect the ultimate test of skill with missions that require well-optimized builds and top-tier execution. Conquering these challenges will earn you an exclusive banner title.
Better Rewards: Greater ADN rewards are now focused on late-endgame build tweaking stuff, such as the new Orbs and Crystallized Time.
🛡️ New Gameplay Mechanics
Resistance Debuff: ADN now introduces a resistance debuff system, requiring you to balance your offense and defense to survive. Prepare your builds wisely!
🛠️ Orbs of Modification
New item type for modifying Gear pieces and Weapons.

Shifting Orb: Rerolls selected item’s Affixes, except High-end ones (Augmented, Set, or Legendary).
Utopic Orb: Ultra Rare Orb that rerolls Super Affixes.
Orbs drop from Champions and end-of-mission Chests (drop rates increase based on mission Timeline).
Utopic Orb is exclusive to one of the Greater ADN Floors.

🔥 Asteroid Dungeon Nemesis 2.0

Cycle Duration is now 3 Days (was 7).
Each cycle offers 5 Missions for both Regular and Greater difficulties.
We've added 12 new Missions and removed 2 old ones, adding to a total of 15 Missions. Missions will rotate randomly every Cycle.
🏹 Regular Floors

Missions rebalanced for better accessibility and rewards.
Regular Missions now always have one Minor Challenge.
Regular Missions now reduce all Resistances by 15%.
💀 Greater Floors

Greater Missions provide late-endgame build tweaking materials, including the new Utopic Orb and Fashion Credits.
Greater Missions now reduce all Resistances by 30%.
They now always have one Major Challenge and one Minor Challenge.
New Chapter: Hunter Zero 3, featuring a prestigious Banner and Title for those who complete every Greater ADN Mission.
🚀 Augmented Affixes

Two new Augmented Affixes have been added to allow players to be able to increase their resistances cap from 50% to 80%.
Elemental: Increases Max Elemental Resistances by 30%.
Phyiscal: Increases Max Physical Resistances by 30%.

T4 Materials removed from Treasure Chests and replaced with a mix of Wishful Fragments, Crystallized Time, and Shifting Orbs.
Cartographer’s Shards from Faction Quests increased by 50%.
Fixed a bug where Difficulty Stats bonuses/penalties were not applied in the first match.
Non-Champion enemies now have a cap to Reduced Duration Stats.
Fixed a bug that caused Talking Head VO's not to play at times.
Fixed a bug where characters did not play Emotes during cutscenes.
Fixed a bug that would make it impossible to purchase new Outfit Palettes if above a certain amount of Dye Kits.
It's no longer possible to Dodge self inflicted damage, such as Overdriver's.
It's no longer possible to Dodge falling damage.
Reduced base radius for Raff's Deadly Drop to 6 (was 4).
Ace's Rocket Fist now only plays Ace's VO line 20% of the times.
Fixed a bug that was preventing Jimmy's Perfect Angle to lose a stack when firing Beam Rifles.
Increased Thunder Cannon's chain lightning cooldown to prevent it from starting a stack overflow when combined with Jimmy's Perfect Angle.
Trying to collect Materials and Memories that are already at the Cap will now display a warning and bounce off the drop back to the world.
Increased the amount of Cartographers Shards dropped from completing a Treasure Map.
Increased the amount of Cartographers Shards dropped by defeating Champions on Treasure Maps.
Increased Cartographers Shards Cap from 9999 to 99999.

The amound of Hard Special Missions was reduced from 4 to 3.
Epic Timeline:
Alien Carapaces: 16 (was 6)

Cartographer’s Shards: 800 (was 4000)
The amound of Epic Special Missions was increased from 1 to 2.
📝 Cartographer’s Shards were too abundant due to a bug that multiplied rewards. We’ve fixed the bug and increased both the drop rates and the number of shards per completed Faction Quest by 50% to compensate.

We’re thrilled to announce that Relic Hunters Legend will launch simultaneously on PC and Xbox! This incredible milestone means that players will soon be able to enjoy the game on both PC and Xbox, but with this exciting news comes some necessary adjustments to our roadmap.
To accommodate the process of porting the game to Xbox, we’ve updated our release schedule to ensure the best experience possible across all platforms. While this has shifted some dates, we’re confident it’s for the best reason imaginable: bringing Relic Hunters Legend to a whole new audience while maintaining our commitment to quality.

January: Patch 0.13.1
This smaller update focuses on bug fixes and adjustments based on the incredible feedback we’ve received since Patch 0.13, while also introducing exciting new features for itemization and endgame. So you’ll be able to check it out later this week:
