For the past years, thousands and thousands of people have been asking “Where is next Tube Tycoon update?”, “What happened to Tube Tycoon?”, “Is Bionicl dead?”. We hear you, we’ve seen the videos and as our hype-train finally arrives at the last stop, we think it’s finally time to share with you the most exciting news:
🔥 V2.0 Beta 1 is out!🔥
We repeat, V2.0 Beta 1 is OUT!!!
That’s right! Right here, right now, the trip has finally come to an end after all this time filled with multiple announcements, weekly Feature Reveals and other sneak peeks. Welcome to station Tube Tycoon v2 Beta 1, thank you for choosing our hype-train and enjoy your stay 🫡
But wait… what even is v2 Beta 1?
Tube Tycoon v2 will be a free update coming to Tube Tycoon! But before we get there, we will be rolling out betas allowing YOU to test out new features, catch any pesky bugs and share feedback. In the meantime we will be collecting it and converting into better experience or other changes to make the last, official, full Tube Tycoon v2 update the BEST it can be! :TTProfessor: Quite a deal isn’t it?
Over the last weeks we’ve shared multiple posts about upcoming features as our Weekly Feature Reveal. In case you haven’t seen these yet, check out the posts ➡️ HERE ⬅️ where each new feature or change has been described in detail!

Woah! Quite hyped, are we? That’s good, but what’s even better is that if you already have Tube Tycoon v1 you can try out beta FOR FREE!
You can start with following these 3 simple steps:

Find Tube Tycoon in your Steam library
Right click and select “Properties”
Go to “Betas” tab and select the only option in Beta Participation
That’s it! The game will auto-update and as it finishes you will able to try out all the new features on your own!
You can shape TT v2!
And that’s still not all! You can help making the Tube Tycoon v2 the best it can be by sharing your feedback! Got any ideas for a new, cool mechanic? Maybe new feature doesn’t feel quite right in your opinion? Just want to show your support? Anything you want to share with us is welcomed! Yup yup, everything according to the plan! And why is that? Because Beta 1 is right around the corner! In case you’ve somehow missed the previous announcements, welcome! This is our Weekly Feature Reveal and you’ve got quite a bit to catch up! We are on the road to Tube Tycoon 2 [Beta 1] and each week we reveal new or redesigned features of the upcoming release.
What’s in the store this time you’re asking?
We’ve come a long way since the initial announcement of v2 Beta 1, and we are definitely proud to announce that this is the last one you’ll be seeing before the Beta launches. Thank you for your constant support over all of these years and sticking with us, despite what was or actually wasn’t going on for a quite a long while 😅
The last and final Feature Reveal is for the TubeVideo itself! It’s going to receive a big overhaul, including:

New layout and more stats
Ability to edit your channel whenever you want 🎉
New customization options (including light/dark theme, background color, etc.)
More of these to be unlocked as you play!
And with that, prepare your luggage as the hype-train is at the final stretch!

It might be already a week since the “2024 Total Solar Eclipse” but we hope you didn’t throw your glasses into the bin yet, because it’s time to reveal this week’s ✨shiny✨ new features of the upcoming beta! In case you missed the news, we are on the road to Tube Tycoon 2 [Beta 1] and each week we reveal new or redesigned features of the upcoming release!
Ever felt like the games on TubeStim are boring? Time to say goodbye to that! :TealFire:
TubeStim has been a part of Tube Tycoon from the very beginning.. after all you can’t record games if you don’t own them, so it deserved some change!

Fresh design with distinctive colors and icons for each game. Be sure to check out their new descriptions!
Even more games to record!
Games will now require additional "skill points" to be recorded. You gain skill by recording other games!
And as for recording games...
You’ve got so many of them but only 3 slots to record…well check this out! Now recording games lives inside the new "Record" tab!

You can buy multiple games without the need of assigning a recording slot to them! Talk about a change!
Each purchased (and not recorded game) awaits for it's start of a series
You can record up to 4 games at once!
Once you complete the game series, you will have an option to record a game review video

Until now, you had to switch between vlogs section and games section (not to mention confusing tabs and special features like DigCraft or TubeStim 😵‍💫)
Now everything will be conveniently at the tip of your hand!

A special recent tab that will list out the videos/series you recently recorded
And to nicely wrap it up, there’s going to be added a feature of recording special one-time videos such as a celebration of your first 100 subscribers! What’s a better excuse to pop a champagne? 🍾

It's been a long time behind the curtains, but it is finally time to show you some stuff coming to Tube Tycoon in the near future! To start things of, we would like to tell you about the new scenario editor - part of the Tube Tycoon 2.0 update.
With scenario editor you'll be able to:

Create scripted events based on many available triggers (like recording video or achieving certain number of subscribers)
Design beautiful dialogs or chat windows to tell your story
Create new video types to record
Generate complex titles using build-in videos title generator
And much more!
Post to Steam Workshop and share your creations with others! (later update)
And best of all - all of this you'll be able to test by yourself next week on Tuesday (03.10.2020) in open beta!

Beta editor release does not updates the main Tube Tycoon game - but eventually it will be part of the new free 2.0 Tube Tycoon update.
