Researching metallurgy now increases the quantity of metal extracted by miners.
BALANCE CHANGES

Improved game economy balance.
Increased freight capacity of hot-air balloons, wagons and donkey riders.
Decreased militia cost.
Increased storehouse capacity.
Decreased impact of bad weather on the morale of units.
Inhabitant’s experience management has been modified:

Working inhabitant gets XP in his field of work.
When an inhabitant has enough XP, it specializes in his work.
Inhabitants CAN NOT change specialization.
When an inhabitant has a specialization, it gets a production bonus (or fighting ability bonus for military units).
In other terms, permanent specializations increase the interest of workers management.

Disclaiming the inheritance now considerably increases the global score (and so the possibility to conquer new provinces).
UI

Added a button to locate an inhabitant’s home.
"Release, Rename and Ban" buttons are now available when selecting an inhabitant on the game field.

Units can now be released from service using the option on the character’s sheet, preventing from releasing it by mistake.

Added color codes for better differentiation of jobs.
Added symbols to differentiate specializations. The yellow star now indicates that the inhabitant works in his field of specialization, if he does not, another symbol is shown.

Thanks to the trading post, it is now possible to sell goods forwarded by transport units (donkey riders, waggoners and balloonists).
When felling lumber, the lumberjack stores the logs directly into their provinces's stock.
To allow carpenters to saw the planks, it is now possible to take logs out of the stock. Select the storage or the warehouse on the game field and choose the amount of logs to retrieve.
The rules regulating vegetation growth have been modified, natural development of plants now depends on:

Soil quality (groundwater table).
Seasons (50% bonus in spring, 25% bonus in summer, 0% bonus in autumn, but 100% malus in winter).
Gardeners, who can speed up plant growth.
Too large amount of trees, which can slow down plant growth.

Gardeners automatically come back to their workplace to tend to the plants until the tree's emergence.
An option has been added to reduce the destruction of natural environment by drills: select a drill on the game field and choose "prohibit extraction of rocks".
New tips have been added to the "Did you know?" page.
BALANCE CHANGES

Building a temple no longer prevents inhabitants from leaving the colony.
Experience gained by inhabitants increased:

(Reminder) Morale has an impact on experience. A happy inhabitant progresses faster in learning their profession!
The lower the chances of winning a fight are, the higher the experience gain is.

Frequency of bandit attacks lowered.
"Number of citizens" prerequisite for constructions lowered.
Number of free spaces in workshop stocks and stables increased.
Negative impact on natural environment by an unexploited well lowered.
Improvement of the A.I. NPC's: bandits, animals...
To avoid confusion, the A.I. of the competitor Governors has been temporarily deactivated.
FIXES

A unit performing a ranged shot no longer recovers its action points if recruited again in the same turn.
GRAPHICS

Animated hot-air balloons added.
Debris from crashed hot-air balloons on the ground added.
UI

Comprehension of the unit recruitment interface improved.
Alerts are displayed in red. For example, the "food" symbol is displayed in red when there is not enough food to provide for all your inhabitants.

Thanks to the trading post, it is now possible to sell goods forwarded by transport units (donkey riders, waggoners and balloonists).
When felling lumber, the lumberjack stores the logs directly into their provinces's stock.
To allow carpenters to saw the planks, it is now possible to take logs out of the stock. Select the storage or the warehouse on the game field and choose the amount of logs to retrieve.

A "very easy" difficulty level has been added for intermediate inventions (new game only).
Fertilizer adds bonus experience for farmers and gardeners.
Lumber research in the laboratory increases experience gains for wood craftsmen (loggers and woodworkers).
Assembly research increases experience gains for blacksmiths.
The discovery of physics and chemistry increases experience gains for savants.
Textile research lowers the morale decrease of inhabitants spending winter without heating.
Medicine research slightly increases the morale of inhabitants.
The decaying rate of cargos grounded on foreign shores is now displayed.
Cultivating a field slightly penalizes groundwater tables, even when not using fertilizer.
It is now possible to rescue shipwreck survivors when searching grounded cargos on the shores.
BALANCE CHANGES

Lightning now strikes less often.
Silting rate of shores lowered.
Compass action points bonus increased.
Construction times of several buildings lowered.
NPC artificial intelligence: threat generation represented by NEORT followers increased.
