This patch simply overhauls the battle background system to give more area specific, custom, backgrounds. They are higher resolution and far more colourful and in theme with the rest of the game. I hope you enjoy. If you want to take a look you can view them on my blog @ warpedta

* Many enemies have been tweaked to make them more enjoyable to fight.

This patch addresses some of the feedback about the game's difficulty, early characters, and weapons/armours in Driftburgh. The bellow information contains story spoilers. * Added a difficulty setting to the options menu. It can be changed at any time. What does it do? Changes th
This patch addresses some of the feedback about the game's difficulty, early characters, and weapons/armours in Driftburgh. The bellow information contains story spoilers.
* Added a difficulty setting to the options menu. It can be changed at any time. What does it do? Changes the way enemy level scaling works. On easier difficulties you are more likely to run into creatures 5-10 levels below your current one.
* Added leveled skills to Gretel and Ratter. It was always our intention for Sophia to outstrip her companions which is why she changes them relatively often, but I understand that by the end of Driftburgh people were frustrated by the lack of progression with Gretel and Ratter. To this end I have added new affinities to these characters that are learned at certain levels.
* Added new weapons and armour and weapon loot crates to Driftburgh and the surroundings.
* Fixed a memory leak issue regarding enemy level progression.
* Fixed other various bugs and typos.

This new, large quest takes place in the 'The Warren' the only one of the Twelve Duchies that has been completely enveloped within the Ash Forest. For those of you interested in the geographical location I have put a link to our working-map below.

Uncertain of how Sophia will be able to use Doctor Gray's affinity stealing rod to take away the Emperor's mind control powers, without herself falling under his spell, Cassandra has sent out Tattered Flag members to search for any possible solution to this conundrum.
In the far North of the sprawling Ash Forest lies 'The Warren', formally known as Filgellin. It is ruled by a small group of people that, the local townsfolk, call vampires. Once normal people who fell sick with the ash blight, they died... but there story did not end there. There bodies did not decay and many years after their deaths they rose again, all their past affinities lost but with new, powerful ones, and a thirst for human blood.
As one of the strongest supporters of the Empire it was assumed that they too were under the control of the Emperor but according to Tattered Flag spies they have refused several of his summons to join his army, preferring to stay in the dark Ash Forest, even though the Emperor visited them personally.
If they are able to resist his mind control then perhaps there secret can be discovered, and perhaps Sophia will finally be able to directly challenge the Emperor without falling under his control.

I't's just myself working on this now. With the Proof-reading the first DLC, helping get a Greenlight Video ready for Sublime Games' 'Rune Monsters' - which Warped Tales has helped create and is publishing, bug-fixing, and making sure my 1yo daughter doesn't eat my keyboard I'm a little overwhelmed!
Fortunately a missing team member comes back on the thirteenth so it's only temporary.

With the Proof-reading the first DLC, helping get a Greenlight Video ready for Sublime Games' 'Rune Monsters' - which Warped Tales has helped create and is publishing, bug-fixing, and making sure my 1yo daughter doesn't eat my keyboard I'm a little overwhelmed!
